  • wow on your first cut you almost had it kick, be carefull nd wear some ppe!

  • def want some safety glasses on for that stuff lol

  • "2 big Christmas hams" lol....I lost it when i heard that...keep up the good work

  • This looks enjoyable

  • Get some saw chaps, and put safety glasses on that little gal. Good video

  • There's no women on this island....lol

  • you breaking your back man, got bend your knees.

    LOL

  • funny thanks Reg

  • That kind of work is good for you and your soul DEMCAD.... no more icecream for you! Hehe. (in allusion to your previous video: Fat Man NOT buying ice cream at grocery store)

  • Bend those knees! Great job DEMCAD!!

Will you come to the Patriot Festival in Austin, Texas?

  • hahahahhahahahah

sorry but seanthread stfu they didnt handle them like pros your supposed to let the saw to the work... the way the chain spins it pulls the saw towards the log and witht the jaws on it all you need to do is drop the saw down into the wood then it grabs the log and does everything by itself.... thats why your back is going to hurt at the end of the day... btw im 15 and cut with a husquvarnia 345 20in bar =D

  • Demcad vs Wild.....im in

  • Now it's time to split that wood, after you unload it. Man, I get tired thinking about my life and firewood. Cut tree; cut tree more; load wood; unload wood; split wood; stockpile wood; carry wood in....isn't natural gas wonderful? Bend your knees, please. Great video as usual.

  • ew wtf he showed his ass

    WTF?

  • thanks DEM- great stuff!

  • Way to go you handled those after awhile like a pro.

  • A cubic foot of wood weighs around 60 pounds, I'd guess the heaviest one of those pieces was around 100 pounds.

  • So, how is your back feeling today?

  • Pretty good. I can definitely feel a little tension, but it's great.

  • watching this hurts my back^^

  • Your shirt is drenched, man! Bet you were tired after that workout.

  • Thanks. Happy Easter DEMCAD!

  • nice and God bless all here. Happy Easter

  • Those wood blocks are huge. Your pretty strong to do it without using your legs much.

  • Looks like a good workout. I do want to agree that you should lift with your legs and not your back. You will get old soon enough.

  • Lift with the legs :) glad your back is great, jsu tbe careful you are still young, lots of time to mess it up if you are not careful, it does catch up with you.

Keep the great vids and adventures coming!

  • Reginald I think you are great. Love your videos man. You're one of the real good guys. Peace.

  • After being a stocker here and there, I can definately say that you don't want ot keep lifing with your back. They're right. :)

  • DEMCAD,

you can hurt your back lifting like that. Learn to lift properly. If its too heavy, get another person to help you. Or if possible use some lifting equipment. When we get older, we lose that sense of invulernability. Physically at least. Harder to lose the attitudes and feelings. ;)

  • Good advice. i was being a dumbass.

  • Thanks. Believe me I'm really into safety. And those safety courses have been really helpful to me. And common sense too.

I used to work for both IBM and Hitachi. Safety goggles and a extra pair of gloves a must when cleaning the lube machine. And when filling the liquid nitrogen tanks: faceguard, cryogenic gloves, and a matted apron.

  • I use to do some wood cutting in upstate NY when I was younger. Good, healthy honest work. I loved it, but ya lift with your legs ;-) Thanks for the video Demcad, looks like Ketchikan would be a great place to live!

  • Ya know, a bear would make an awesome intruder-deterrent. I'm just sayin'. Good job, Reg. I love your videos.

  • you got a good SAW! Now you need a chainsaw HELMET and RIPSTOP pants! I am not kidding! hearing protection, eye protection and don't loose a leg. As it is now I have lose of hearing in my left ear from a lifetime of not having those things, the work chaps really help with not ruining you clothes not to mention blood loss. The hat, save a chunk of your head, My old school teacher almost lost an eye he didn't have his hat on.

  • Boy is your back gonna be sore tomorrow...lol.

  • My back is great. I used to move friends all of the time. I moved this one guy 4 times in 5 years. I even helped haul a piano.

  • WITHOUT SAFETY GLASSES? LOL Somebody will lose an eye. How close is the hospital to the filming location and can you drive yourself with one eye bloody?

  • Chris or Bobbie would have driven me. 10 miles.

  • Why did you move to Alaska? Where did you live before?

  • I moved to Ketchikan, AK 14 months ago after joining AmeriCorp.

  • Hehe, great vid!

    Ah the outdoor Life,

    gotta love it.

    Be careful with those bears!

  • Reginald the "survivalist..." Love it!!!

  • And hey DEMCAD, can you please confirm you got my emails yesterday ?

Its doing my nut, cus i dont know whether you are interested otr not, cus you dont reply !!

Is that cus you dont read your messages, or you arent interested ??

    REGINALD ! READ THIS !!!

    (and please let me know)

  • Dont go stroking the bears, man !

I can see where this is heading ! You will be on the news, with the newsreaders laughing at how some black city liver, got eaten by some bears, cus he was trying to make a video.

And the girl with the chainsaw (a freemasonic bear breeder) will get all your belongings, and make millions on you tube from her "Bears Eat Man Alive" video !

I can see it coming, you cant trust any girl with a chainsaw. Or anythign sharp !

And Shotguns DONT kill bears !!

  • (the girl i mean)

  • Devil worshippng chainsaw satanists ?

Or just someone witht heir own log fire ?

  • At least you are trying and learning new skills. Let the saw do the work when cutting you do not have to saw back and forth

  • Full moon in Alaska....ahhhh....My eyes are burning !!!....lol.

Nice video man. That place you live reminds me of the surroundings of the movie First Blood(Rambo 1).

Im still so pissed about that 20/20 anti-gun program last night. It was so bad against gun ownership & self-defense that it was ridiculous.

    I did a video response to you DEMCAD called WHY HAVING A HANDGUN IS SO IMPORTANT. Here is the link;

    watch?v=oDFcjVqqFUs

A handgun with a shotgun makes the Perfect Pair. Thanks

  • Demcad is strong!!

  • Love your video's Reginald!

  • imagine no hospital when you lift heavy objects. spinal injuries are not recommended.

  • Actually, we have Ketchikan General Hospital.

  • I miss doing that. I hate living in the city.

  • What kind of wood is that? Looks so heavy!

  • 10 miles north of Ketchikan, AK.

  • Good work out! I'd like to see you fishing. I hear they got great fishing in Alaska. Fresh Salmon. That must be the best!

  • You need to identify your vids with the geographical location of ketchikan, AK. So that people can find them on Google maps.

  • I add "Ketchikan" tabs to my videos and I put the location in 8 hours later. Check it out.

  • do you need a permit to cut firwood in Alaska???

  • Stihl chainsaws are great I've used em for years growing up in Washington. Much fun

  • i couldnt see what model that one was but they re quite expensive...

  • I would recommend eye and ear protection as safety is important. It looks like you went to a quarry to get the wood, do they mine trees there? Are you going to change the opening of your news videos from you chopping the wood to you using a chainsaw? Personally I think you would be faster using the ax as you seem pretty good with one.

  • Reginald got wood.

  • tooo funny

  • LOL great video man, we wanna see you hunt in one of these videos soon. hehehe

  • LOL Reginald , first time I used a chainsaw I was 13, no joke

you're gonna seriously hurt your back if you lift those logs like that

  • Take care of your Back Reginald. If you strain it too badly the thing will never really heal. It's neat that you can just drive down to the beach and cut driftwood like that.

  • "he's a lumberjack and he's ok....he sleeps all night and works all day"

    /watch?v=5zey8567bcg

  • my eyes! my eyes! lol

    glad you had fun.

  • One of the best vids I've seen all week. My back is hurting just from watching it. lol

  • look who's

    a woodchuck..

    rock on brother..

  • Keep your back straight and lift with your knees or you'll wreck yourself.

  • lol nice work!

  • lmao. looks like you had a great time. Minus the ass in the vid. hahaha

    Peace

    Rob

  • hahaahaa. tiny chainsaw u got there. looks like a toy

  • man split that stuff before you load it...ouch you are going to blow out an o-ring dude.....great video though its cool to see a city boy getting into it....i really appreciate you allowing us a view of your life Reginald. its very cool of you

  • ah the vids back...Now you are learning what the word work really means...cutting fire wood warms you twice...once when you cut it and once whey you burn it

  • aw man! a lumberjack video and you pulled it:(*
