It would be good to see the river like this again this Xmas. Get some water down to Lake Cargelligo. We need another flood like 74...that would be great
Thanks for the comment - often still do the Darbys Fall Bridge to Cowra Bridge in my Kayak when the weather and water co operates. Takes me about 4 - 5 hours - the record is just over 2 hours.
I remember seeing the low level Bridge submerged a few times over the years. Lots of Debris tends to build up under the pylons- it's sunk many a Scouting Kayak'er! Love this arrangement by the way.
