too bad they show the kraken in the trailer. if they werent so bent on making money they would leave the kraken out of trailers and not reveal anything about it before the premiere to improve the cinematic experience for the movie-goers

Why does everyone keep saying God of War rip off?? The story of Perseus has been around since ancient Greece & the original Clash of the Titans came out in 1980. It's not a rip off of a Playstation game...

Ignorant. The original Clash of the Titans predates God of War. This is just a remake.

If anything. God of War ripped off the original Clash of the Titans.

It *is* inspired by the old one that came out in early 1980s. It is a remake -- because the producer and writer said it is a remake of the classic. They had been pitching the project for years as a remake. Obviously a remake is not going to be exactly like the old movie.

It was. After the film is now converted into 3D, its release date is pushed a week later from its original date. Now it releases on April 2nd.

this will do moderately well at the box office. i'm sure it will be a decent flick. i'm glad they're giving louis leterrier (the director) more to work with. the transporter movies weren't great, but that's not his fault. the incredible hulk also wasn't great, but he directed some really good performances. i bet he'll do the same here with this kind of all-star cast.
