To bad Realm Crafter don't work on Windows 7 the worlds **** computer software ever...

Windows 7 deletes the Realm Crafter.exe right away no mater what you try, tried every thing i could think of.

The setup is there but the exe file is missing.

@jbelkus123 I guess that is the case just got no clue how it manages to make such a mess with just RC exe downloads.

I have tried anything a person would think of, turn off all Anti Vitus Software/firewall , re downloading 4 times, add exception and to try to download the RC on member site several times just to make sure i did not need to download something then install RCC.

But nothing works..not sure what i am doing wrong but i am starting to think i know whats wrong.

That game can play on windows 7 but not from autorun, it has to be started manualy because windows 7 don't understand what kind of program is being used.

My guess now that i have had some days on me to find a answer, is that my computer fails to run any of the RC programs cause it don't know what program it is.

But it still runs the program and then comes up with a error.

@toyy7675 Overall Windows 7 is a great OS, at least in my opinion. Windows 7 shouldn't be automatically deleting software. Are you sure its not your anti-virus program?

@Cdormer09 In standard you can just scale up the land. Of course, the more you change the scale, the lower the detail of the terrain.

@Akiuk100 The cost varies a lot depending on who you purchase from. A VPS (a virtual server) will cost less, about 30-40 for a cheap one. A cheap dedicated server will cost you about $100/month.

You can host from your home computers while testing, but a released game needs a lot of bandwidth with a low latency. $100 for RC might seem a lot, but its fairly insignificant when you consider your hosting costs; all engines are like this.

Some scanning software shows it up as a false positive. If you disable the antiviral software before installing, it won't be deleted. Youc an then switch it back on afterwards.

Is this engine able to load the art assets that Game Creators sell?

Is there a way to modify the source, or add additional code, to control how combat works?

What is it coded in? C++, Basic? What about the scripting? Is it Java Script?

TGC assets could be imported if they are in a format at RC supports (b3d, X, 3ds).

RCS has source access (after a waiting period), though combat can also be controlled via scripting. RCP will have a source release but it will not be a free upgrade.

RCS uses BlitzBasic as its language using BriskVM for scripting. RCP uses C++ and C#, and from 2.50 will use C# for scripting.

RC Professionals source will required Microsoft Visual Studio. The Express editions *might* work, but I'm unsure at the moment.

There haven't been many successful RC games released. Because of it's focus on ease of use and it's extremely low pricing, it attracts younger, unexperienced developers.

However, there are two more professional games currently released that are making money. Fasaria World: Chapter 1 (fantasy) and Knights of Dream City (sci-fi). Both are made by the same company.

Apocalypse Online was up for a while, but I heard rumors that it flopped earlier this year. Free games are hard to manage.

is the ProgressBar. i know there is a ProgressBar. but u can't change how it look. let say i whant it to be pink and have the same layout as wow intstead of the green ProgressBar.

Sounds like you are using Vista. Try running the application as an administrator (there is an option when you right click it).

Its really strange, I have built a game with server and client, but when I open up the client [no errors], then it connnects to the server[no errors], but then I press the login button and a window pops up that just says "error" and it won't let me play! I can't create a new account either because the same thing happens. Got any ideas?

1.8 is about three years old. Its the only cracked version on the internet. You need to remember that RC makes ONLINE games, meaning the illegal games you create are instantly visible to the developers.... that could get a hefty lawsuit.

In RC Standard its possible to change the bar graphics in the project folder.

In RC Professional is possible to reskin the interface (as well as manipulate all the elements).
