Congrats on Your 1 year anniversary! I totally agree have fun! That's what I love about being natural I don't have anyone to consult w/t just me! I totally agree w/t doing protective styles if you want to but it's not a must to grow hair. U can't go by what works for others,even tho I love product reviews! I might ask others opinions but it's not set in gold. I love products but I'm trying to settle down w/t my favs. Your hair has grown so much! Thanks sis!

Congrats on your year! I just BC'd and I never had short hair before so I freaked and braided it up. I've had the braids about two days and want to snatch them out to just be me. I feel you on the "Owning It". We need to be proud of our beautiful hair.

I'm like you. I've been natural since I was 29 (not telling my age), so last year I decided to loc it. This August will be a year I have my locs. I love them. I had my transitional stage, & I think everyone does when trying something new. I love my locs, & look forward to a good relationship. Good luck on ur anniversary & your journey. :-)
