Nice to hear that, the truth is, i like it to very much. v.Weber is an underestimated composer. Many as other composers in Mozart´and Beethoven´ time. When you go to my Youtube Channel, you can find some more brilliant music from v.Weber, also Schubert, and other less masters.

This was my very first introduction to classical music. My grandmother had an old 78 of it done by Frederick Stock and the Chicago Symphony. You had to flip the record over after that slow, otherworldly string section. Later, my uncle scrounged up a study score of Euryanthe, Freischutz, and Oberon. Subsequent research turned up the fact that even Weber's great music couldn't save what amounted to a horrible libretto written by a rank amateur who'd also submarined Schubert's "Rosamunde".

I'm playing this is concert band! It's pretty difficult, and I can't believe someone arranged it for concert band. It's pretty fun, though.
