I was lured to this video because I was curious about the music... but WHY on earth did they combine it with extreme violence??? Because it looks "cool", or "hip", or "modern" or whatever? Are people sick enough to think that? Do people really enjoy this?!?! This video is not art, it's depressing garbage trying to pass as art. How on earth are we gonna live in a better world if disgusting violence becomes "cool"? Sick minds are watching and getting ideas from this. Don't you see that?!?!

Boadicea was a warrior queen from the ancient world whose home was pillaged, her daughters raped in front of her and her homeland taken away from her by the Roman Empire. Boadicea thus retaliated with massive force and almost obliterated her oppressors. This video is a modern version of that story of strength in today's world where women aren't very encouraged to fight back or be powerful. Like Boadicea this girl is fighting oppression.

@ecampeador So yeah, if you ask me, this is art...and it is awfully empowering for women who are still oppressed by a predominantly patriarchal society. How else is the point supposed to get across if she doesn't destroy her oppressors?

@xAmazonxValkyriex Ok, I respect your opinion... but "destroying opressors" is so primitive, so animal-like... I think humanity is better than that. There are other ways to fight opression which don't turn the opressed into a raging criminal as well. If people pay back violence with violence, the cycle never ends, in an eternal revenge pattern. There is a law of action and reaction in the universe which WILL take care of injustice, without you having to resort to justice with your own hands.

@ecampeador I understand that and I agree with you, but Boadicea did come from a more primitive time period and I guess it's because Boadicea fought violence with violence that this was also presented in this video. After all, the lyrics say "Boadicea, a real life Boadicea deep within you." So essentially it's not about whether fighting violence with violence was wrong, it's just a modern depiction of Boadicea's story.

I love the video. Violence is within all of us, it always has and always will be. It's human nature.. Why people are so shocked by it is beyond me. Promoting it is a different story but I don't think this is.. It's a modern take on the historical Boadicea and I don't see any reason which appreciating history is wrong

Can someone explain to me why she went cray-cray and killed everyone??? Not a fan of wanton violence in this day and age especially when real-life violence is scary enough...so when there is extreme violence in art, I like for there to be some sort of artistic vision behind it! But this here made no sense to me!
