I don't really trust this video. I'm not saying that it is outright misleading, but a series of cut up interviews always looks suspicious to me. Personally, I didn't like McCain or Obama. I'm glad that we didn't have rioting when the vote was over. I thought for sure that the KKK and company would be making good on their promises. Once again, they show that they are all talk.

I looked, but only found one credible plan for an assassination that was prevented before it could start. Even those guys were deemed incapable of actually carrying out the act. All I'm saying is that I'm tired of the same rhetoric that I've been hearing since I was little kid. Either they are going to have their race war, or not. If not, then they should stop preaching to the world about something that won't happen.

I'm not implying that you did. I do apologize if it seemed that way.
As for what I did find, it was not much. I found several plots, but any attempts were stopped long before they could be considered as such. Then again, a search like that isn't easy. So much of what happens would be real hush hush, unless it was too public to not notice. I even tried looking up stats on threats to the president in general. All I could find is an average of 1500/year for any president.

I don't like kkk, I'm not like that. If they choose to be that way, then I just feel sorry for them. Because they are simple minded fools. Really, every hate group is all talk and no action, except for hitler, who was demented in his own little world. If there is going to be a race way, I'll paint myself green or something, to show that I do not support either side.

Yeah. The "race war" looks to be a war that neither side will win, let alone start. If it does happen, I'll be staying way out of it. When the fighting is done, I'm collecting. After all, I'm sure there's going to be plenty of leftover ammo lying around.

I bet riley526 thinks that we're white supremacists. I just genuinely thought that the US electing a black president was going to bring a lot of chaos. I knew from my own personal experiences that it would cause a huge uproar, but I'm glad it didn't go the way I thought it was going to go.

People will always find a way to hate other people for. Either by color, race, size, age, or mental condition, or even hate for having different views and opinions (example: riley526). But it takes alot of courage to stand up and fight against the hate. I'm also glad that it didn't cause huge uproar. Just proves that people in America are more mature then they used to be.

No. I'm Puerto Rican. I probably have black relatives in PR that I haven't met.
I realize that some of things that I wrote may be misinterpreted by overly sensitive people. Clearly, I knew that who I was talking to was not one of those people.
Why are you upset that we were glad that there wasn't rioting over an election? Did you want that to happen?

Ignorance upsets me. When people hold a view on a topic that they obviously have not researched, it does more harm then good. I'm not against opposing views so long as they are back up by facts. People make assumptions based on how they think things are instead of how the really are. Every time you sensed hostility in my comments its in regards to people who make a statement that is untrue and refuse to accept that they are wrong.

Ohhhh...now I see why you're upset. You're right. I didn't look at your previous posts. You're upset that we aren't calling for the head of Obama to be served on a plate. Sorry, but I'd rather worry about the crooks we have in Congress. The president, while still powerful, is not the only one that makes policy. One would figure that a poli-sci student would have understood that.

See that's what i mean. What are you talking about? Show me the post where i said that obama is the only one responsible. Show me the post where i call for his head on a plate. I disagree with his policies just like i disagreed with the manner in which Bush handle his administration. I would be more then happy to debate policy or the crooks in congress with you. Just provide evidence to your theories. By the way I'm not a student I'm a graduate.

I can totally agree with you on the bad policies made by both Bush and Obama. I didn't like either one of those guys. My opinion of both of the big two parties is that they only have one difference; how they're going to waste the money that I give them. I'm really not up for a debate right now. Frankly, this just isn't one of the topics that I care too much about.

That's fine and understandable. I know that politics can be boring and argumentative. However, it is extremely important. I see protesters all over and most of them are so busy fighting for a cause that is BS. If they educated themselves even slightly they would see where their energy should be allocated.

Many aspects of Jesus' thinking can be considered similar to socialism. He decried injustice and inequality in his time. At the ver least, Christian values are compatible with socialism. "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God"

Right wingers have misrepresented Jesus long enough. His whole thinking is about fairness, justice and solidarity. These are not the individualistic, egocentric values of republican unregulated free market extremists. This "win or die" philosophy is not christian. Turning the other cheek can be interpreted many different ways. It can mean "you must never stop fighting for justice, but sometimes you must show patience". Jesus does not belong to you.

You claim to know the laws of nature? Wow you sure are brilliant. I have read Hobbes, and some Locke. I know something about Adam Smith. I've read Marx, Lenin, Herbert Spencer (inventor of social darwinism) and Guttierez (creator of liberation theology).
