Nand roms are now very popular at the moment as you can wipe and reflash the internal phone memory to run android roms and just use your SD card for music video and extra apps. i am currently using MIUI android 2.3.4 nand rom on my HTC HD2 and it runs so much better than windows mobile 6.5 and all apps and functions work perfectly plus there are loads more free android apps to download
The ROM is only a file on the SDCard and does not replace flash memory. As long as you have the hard spl update installed properly (See xda-developers for the Hard SPL if you did not do that, then the rom file should not hurt your phone and it shuold work.
It's not really a ROM, since that starts from the NAND. Android is just a build for now. NAND is on the way though, by doing that is going to be risky but you just get rid of Windows Mobile :)
@alienworks I'm pretty sure this rom works with the international hd2 it's posted in that section on xda. Just google superam froyo xda. Also there's a gingerbread build like this google Mdeejay ram build.
I enjoyed your videos on the HD2 and Android Froyo. Yes, we need to try all different ROMs and customizations to suit our personal needs. I really liked the look of your Launcher Pro, but I also have this and can't figure out how you get the Sense look with a curved bar from Launcher Pro. Can you please explain how you did this? Many thanks for your great commentary and effort here!
I agree the HD2 with Darkstone SuperRAM has helped me with battery life too. Thanks for this video! Also, can you please respond to my question below? Many thanks!
@aka7minimouse ooh!. I forgot to mention that in this video I mention it in another video somewhere. Whenever I install a new ROM, I have needed to keep my SIM card in, but first remove the SIM lock. After Android installs, I can add the lock back inside android. When I did not do that, it rebooted to winmo. Try that and install again. Let me know if it worked.
@xayyabanha Sorry. I did not have any echo problem. Check the xda-forums in the darkstone thread and install the same radio he has. Or find the HTC HD2 Master Radio Thread. One mistake I made was to test the phone by caling it from another phone. The speakers and mics were so sensitive that they caused bad feedback that seemed like echo. If you test from a phone nearby, be sure not to test the speakerphone or in the same room. Otherwise, upgrade the radio rom. Mine boots and says R 2.15.50.14
Hey there, This time not a question about the ROM or Phone, but about the songs you used, can you list the artists and song titles?
Thank you!

Great vid. I've had this build on my HD2 for about a week now, and the speed is awesome; not just for booting the system, but data transfer as well!

@mrmickdog I got the Launcher Pro icons and paunch bar backgrounds apps on the market. One of the bar backgrounds is the curved bar.
