i'm 21 and just got diagnosed with acute pancreatitis and it seems really petty compared to what you have, i feel hopeless that the doctor hasn't done enough for me and it sucks but I am not going to let this BS get me. I had a small sip of alcohol and that activated it.
I also wanted to added that after 6 surgeries I was referred to pain management after my GI Dr. Said there was nothing more they could do. My quality of life is better with the Meds but I don't really want to spend my life on narcotics. Bless you.
Hello, I'm 40 and was diagnosed with CP when I was 20 they believe it is the rare hereditary form. It is nice to meet someone else with the same disease. I would love to correspond with you. I'm on FB and you can find me under Stacey Sabo in Kentucky. Thanks for your video.

thank you so much for this vid...i hope u win...'Well i have been dx with CP 2 yrs ago and its been hell...I had an ERCP a few months ago and the Dr didnt get thru to the pancreas at all and refused to do it again, so my dr sent me to anothr surgeon,4 hours away.and this dr blew me off, said he is not doing another ERCP, and no matter what the cat scan says, he wont do anything for me,that is it,told me to take pain relief. Im so alone,im 47 and get tierd from this, drs dont want to help me :(
@willJACwin that is because they just dont know how to tx us...and unfortunately they put us in the too hard basket....i am having another attack just now...sux...had ct scan recently done...but dont expect the drs to do anything....its difficult eh...all the best
this is a really good video. I was 18 when I was first diagnosed with acute pancreatitis n had been suffering for 2 years before they realised I was suffering with gall stones which gave me pancreatits. It is so dangerous I wish people were more aware that young people get it to! I was rushed to hospital and if it wasn't for my sister coming home early n taking me in I would have died that day! I have since been rushed in a few times for pancreatitis but don't know what makes me have the attacks
@tuitwo they thought i had appendix issues until i got a catscan. i have been checked for everything and my doctors quit on me and told me to just deal with it.
Thanks for your Video on Pancreatic. And I was very surprised to know that you had this since very young age but you are out of Hosp after 3 to 4 days. I am 55 and I had first attack last month May 24th 2010 and I was in Hosp for 22 days out of that 19 days without food and water. But finally I am out of Hosp but the pain is still there and I have to follow up. May god Give you the strength to face this. Thanks Amin
@aminmu66 you are very welcome. it is diesease hard to live with but it is something that you have to go day to day with it. the fear of an attack is always there but atleast there is always something to stop it. even if it is no eating, it is better than death. may we find a cure.
Thank you for sharing, I know pain and it sucks. I will support you and share this video. We all need to support each other regardless of our disease. Disease sucks, pain sucks and we all need to understand this can happen to you. I'm here for you, bro.! Good Luck! I will vote, yeah.
