  • @micpetes111 bakwas band kar randi key baitey, jo har aik sey chodwati hai, jao apna hindu racist brain ko overhaul karao, abey kutey ki aulad.

  • it can be seen as his own style which requires on the spot innovation and believe me some superhuman tayari. alright the traditionalist will say something but by doing so they become the greatest obstacle in the growth of an art. because tayari with innovation is good enough to be an art and the style is mere personal taste. therefore peole who cannot appriciate his style is there personal aesthetic short coming.

  • This guy is a benchmark when it comes to Tayaari.

  • I can tell you right now that he cannot play with a singer or any other artist. If he does by any chance, just dont ask what is going to happen to the singer [No Offense]. However, he is still a good solo classical tabla player.

  • everyone can do it one can practise regularlly tafo is bekar...

  • I was a student of Ustad Mulazim Hussain, Tafoji's shaagird, Tafoji was amazing...I first learned from his playing and still learn from it.

  • this is not tabla this is dhol he is playing

  • Tabla ke tamam gharaaney iss baat par muttafiq hein keh solo tabla performance ke liyey sab sei pehley taaleem aur phir mizaaj honaa buhut zaroorii cheezein hein. Peishkaar kaa mizaaj, ilm aur baaj alag hei. Qaidah kaa mizaaj aur baaj alag hei. Tihayee kaa mizaaj aur baaj alag hei. Isii tarah Gatt aur Parn kaa mizaaj aur baaj alag hei. Iss video mein 2 flying coaches bhar kar laayee gaein theen. Ziyada ta Heera Mandii kaa school of thought jin ke paas classical mauseeqii kaa fuqdaan hotaa hei.

  • I don't see such a big deal (obviously the audience has never heard good tabla). Peshkar is supposed to be played slow and melodiously, the point is to build an atmosphere and layakari, he seems to miss both. It sounds like a person gasping for breath. Compared to Ustad Shaukat Khan, Ustad Allarakha or Ustad Lachman Seen SIngh he is an insult to Mian Kader Baksh. If anyone wants to hear a good and even FAST peshkar, listen to Ustad Ahmed Jan Thirakhwa.

  • He is a good Tabla player, but I have to agree with you. I am not too fond of his playing. This is not quite what I have in mind when I think of "Punjab Gharana".

  • Such Speed!!!!

  • khalsafauj is right that tafo sahb has no purity or emphasis on bols but i can guarantee that there is nobody on earth can play tabla with such superb speed. he starts with the speed from where others end. Once Allah rakha, on hearing tafo khan, said "if anybody plays with greater speed he will have a heart attack"

  • @arjunpp123 His purity and emphasis on bols is greater than anyone who will ever post any comment here.

    That concludes my argument.

    so EGO DOWN!

  • @KillinDaWelfareMCs a peshkar is supposed to be played slowly emphasizing on the bols and creating an atmosphere but here hes not doin so. he is mechanical and he is damn fast... but he cannot accompany anyone if he plays like that..

  • @arjunpp123 bro whose khalsa fauj are referring to me

  • His hands are electrifying

  • who was tafo khan ustad ji??

  • Ustad tafo Khan ustaad ji was the legedry master Ustad mian qadeer buksh from lahore he was the best Tabla legen ustaad ever

  • The best

  • Kiddah Khalsafauj? ki hal chaal?

Um, thabla has countless taals in it, people still find new taals (u must already know this)? So I don't know about him twisting styles in his own way, but one things is for a fact...

The practise it takes to reach a speed... it's immense and tense. It takes many hours a day, practicing.

  • hmmm? I realized accents are important. Its like playing two melody lines on top of each other when it comes to drums.

  • He truly has own unique style and love watching every bit unlike most ustads he starts his relas from the beginning of the solo and therefore you enjoy it that much more

  • yo the guy nodding with him made me laugh at 2:10

  • The style he has developed is grate. Gets my vote !

  • khalsafauj i think he won against ustad zakir hussein and tari khan you say he faild why he faild ?????

  • il stil never understabd y he isnt as famous as all the other great tabla players out there :S

  • WHAT A PESHKAR!

  • Incredible and awesome hand speed. He is truly great and the most underrated tabla player in the world.

  • this is music straight from the soul
