God is eternal and unchanging. God lets no sin go unpunished. But His ways of dealing with sin changed when He sent Jesus. In the OT, people would have to sacrifice animals periodically to cover their sin. But when Jesus came, He was the ultimate sacrifice for everyone's sin. God's ways of dealing with sin changed (heck, he wiped out the entire world minus Noah's family and the animals with the Flood because of their wickedness in the OT) but God hasn't changed.

And actually it's God that created everything from nothing, not the Big Bang, according to your hypothesis. Everyone is born a sinner. But God is mercy, grace, forgiveness, and best of all love. Jesus was sent to take away the sins of the world! That doesn't mean that people aren't still sinners though. The only way to get to the Father is through Jesus Christ :)

God is eternal and unchanging. God lets no sin go unpunished. But His ways of dealing with sin changed when He sent Jesus. In the OT, people would have to sacrifice animals periodically to cover their sin. But when Jesus came, He was the ultimate sacrifice for everyone's sin. God's ways of dealing with sin changed (heck, he wiped out the entire world minus Noah's family and the animals with the Flood because of their wickedness in the OT) but God hasn't changed.

Like I said before, He uses all for His glory, even though we may not understand it. God is also perfectly just and loving at the same time. Meaning, if He wants to wipe out a few thousand people because they are wicked, that's 100% OK, because no sin goes unpunished. But that's mostly Old Testament stuff, before Jesus came to take on our punishment. I think once you looked into Old vs. New Testament, you'd have a better understanding of why God seemed more cruel back then

@AbbeyandChristina Yep. God was pretty much being a dick by putting the tree their, knowing what would happen, and then getting mad when they actually did it. If God was real, and he was a Human, I would deck him so hard.

I don't know. But the evidence out there is in my favor. But sure, believe in your little fantasy book. The world will be a better place when arrogant fucks, such as yourself :D, die off. Before I begin to accept any Biblical claims, you have to first prove the Bible is accurate and the truth.

@sk1ll3tfr34k I agree, religion was a form of government. But it was a primitive one, and it's time we move on. My theory? Once government started becoming more secular, religion had nowhere to turn, so in desperation of losing it's power, it changed its motives and became a somewhat "benevolent", for lack of a better word, group. The world was a terrible place when "Jesus" was alive, and you're a horribly wicked person for suggesting otherwise, historical evidence included.

@notessimodude why not? ur already arguing against God's form of government. and evolution says NOTHING about why we now wear clothes when our "cousins" still run naked. why are YOU ashamed to run around naked? and if we're gonna get into evolution, find the gene that impels us to dress up. then find where that gene came from. cuz if we have it, shouldn't the monkeys have it too, or at least be developing it? even if the gene is turned off in monkeys?

@sk1ll3tfr34k I'm not ashamed to run around naked. But I do have morals, and I care that other people might not want to see a man walking around naked. I'm not shy of my body. There is no gene that tells us to dress up, but there are neurons. When a child is growing up and he sees his parents wearing clothes, he ends up wearing them to. This is also explained by the fact that some tribes in Africa still run around naked.
