I actually got this camera for Christmas, I really love this camera and even though it looks small on the man doing the review, as I am 10 it fits my hands perfectly :) Love it :)

I was wondering if someone could help me out. Im trying to find a camera that shoots 720p and has at least 14 Megapixel. Also priced around £100. I dont know which on to get any suggestions? Also touch screen or panaramic view or just some cool features would be nice but mainly very good and pics and recording. Please help!

Great camera review of the Olympus. There are so many digital cameras on the market and this is a pretty small one. I have looked at other websites and this one seems harder to find. There seems to be other comparable cameras on digital camera ratings dot net website if I'm not mistaken.

This camera is comparable to a Rebel XS, as the E-520 is comparable to the Rebel XSI... the E-620 is quite good, but I think in the end, Canon owns anything at consumer / semi-pro level.

Is it true that E410 has better image quality (more detail) in ISO 1600 than the E-30 (provided you turn Noise filter OFF and reduce sharpness to -2)?

I don't know anything about cameras so this may sound silly. I want to buy a new camera that shoots decent & easy to use but every review I look at on all brands people complain about lens errors. Is there any nice point & shoot cameras that never get lens errors? Is it optical zoom that gets the error and not digital zoom cameras?

Hey Hallal, the olympus e410 was my first dslr, it's great for carrying around - light and compact. The quality's good too, never had a problem with it and a great range of lenses, so if you're tempted by zoom you could invest in a larger lens than the one that comes in the kit.

I have the Fujifilm S2000HD and it's a great camera. Awesome pictures and the HD video mode is great. Only complaint is that the focusing and zooming is very loud on the audio track when you shoot video.

Ok, so I should get this on;y if I want a basic dslr. I saw this for $200 dollars puls a $25 hd lens, Maybe if I go for a $100 lens $300 dollars would be cheep compared to the $400 dollars plus lens for the nikon or cannon.

try the d40, e-420, e-410 and see which one you like. The e-420 and e-410 both have anti-dust and live view, where as the d40 doesn't have live view and anti-dust. Also take a look at the Nikon d60 and Olympus e-520.

I suggest you look at the Sony alpha 350. It has a tiltable LCD screen and a secondary sensor built inside the chamber so the LCD can be used as a live viewfinder. It also has 14.2 mps and it's a camera that will keep its' value a little longer because of the advanced tech in it.

the d40 has only 6 MPs and while that's enough for small prints, more megapixels means better noise reduction.

The Olympus' have a sensor that is too small and at high ISO they have too much noise for a DSLR.

It should be mentioned that this camera features ultrasonic dust remover - no other camera in this price range has this. Also, unlike Nikon D40, E-410 allows you to choose any JPG resolution image to be taken simultaneously with RAW. The menu system is very, very user friendly - no need to dig deep...

Use viewfinder instead of LCD preview, if the speed is an issue. Use faster lens; Add more light, if possible.

the e410 is a terrific camera that i use as my main camera for fashion campaign and editorial use. my images can be seen in all the major mags throughout the world.

The E410 has just been replaced by the E420 (just a few minor changes) but you can still buy it. Its the worlds smallest DSLR and a good beginners camera. I've never heard of an E450 in the UK. Did you mean E410/420, or do they have different names where you live?
