@javierscustompaintin if you mean the computer i think this guy is using time codes to hook up more usb devices you need a usb adapter with the right firmware upgrade you can use these plazers without time codes i hope that helps to dj hara nice set i use these with the rane 68 they are great machines

@DjDiesel909 There are four pages of controls. First page premapped to serato as described at controller, pages from second to fourth can be mapped to anything you want. Switching between pages avalable thru pressing Shift + Files, Shift + Browse, ...

I've used this with Windows XP for about 2 and a half months. just the usual midi mapping trial to get through like on any midi kit - and once thats outta the way - this rocks! on XP with anything.

I just bought this thing and haven't seen anyone really use the controller as much as they are doing a routine. Which is cool I like watching the routines but I'm trying to find a video that they are really utilizing the controller.

why cant the hc-1000s be used with windows XP?

i went to a denon demo at my local audio ealer yesterday, and the denon representative said operating suystems were no problem at all and that it worked fine with windows xp

I just got mine, and Im disappointed frm the get go. This unit does not work on WINXP although the manual says it does. I found this @denon:

** Warning:: Can not be used on WinXP operating system.

This controller does not use a standard device ID to identify it on the Windows XP O/S. The device is only recognized by it's device driver - DN-HC1000S

For Mac O/S users - make sure the device is named - DN-HC1000S - in the Audio/MIDI Setup

** Only compatible with Windows Vista / Windows 7 / Mac OSX

Very misleading, that denon did not give the warnings when I purchased it. If you are wondering why the hell it is not working on XP (and I tried it on 3 computers) this is the reason. No issues on MAC. Hope this helps anyone out there.

How well does that laptop stand hold up in your set up?It looks like it shakes and might be in the way.
