How about when you cancel your service and have to send the box back? Cable systems throw many converters into one box and ship them out to be refurbished. That's where we save these refurbish companies time and money with this overlay. So... I have to disagree, this is very successful product and we sell it everyday.
Yup ok that's why i bought that receiver for $150 with a hard drive to record shows and i use it every day.. hasn't been off since i got it, except when the power goes out with it did once last year ..
That is great news for you as an end user, I am happy that your Cable service provider can offer you such a great service. This is a product intended for Cable Company suppliers , Distributors and their respective technicians. Not for an end user such as yourself to purchase. @stydel311 This overlay works with the 5100 series 6200 series and the newer 6400 series your asking about. We make them for many other converters boxes as well.
Iv had that same HD box for over 3 years and not one scratch on it LOL FAIL !
