Jeff Tam is my AAU Baseball coach. He did let up a nice bomb piece to Mike Sweeney. Trust me. We gave him shit at practice the day after the movie came out !!!!
I watched this game in 2002. The A's led this game 11-0 after 3 innings. The Royals who finished the season (62-100) scored 5 runs in the 4th, 5 in the 8th, and a run with two outs in the 9th to tie the game at 11 before Hatteberg's walk off in the bottom of the 9th. The attendance that night was 55,528. Oakland was shut out in its next game 6-0 by the Twins ending the winning streak at 20. Barry Zito was 23-5, 2.75 & won the Cy Young. The A's lost the division series in 5 games to the Twins.
Favorite video!!! Lol Aaron Harang, Barry Zito, Tim Hudson, David Justice, Jeff Tam, Miguel Tejada, Eric Byrnes and Billy Koch (whats his quote in here?) all so happy!

Anyone see Michael Lewis? In Moneyball he says he was in Art Howe's office at the time.
