  • @HheadHhammer

    As title suggests, National tricone

  • Nice playing. Guitar is my instrument along with bluesharp.

  • Beautiful guitar, well played.

  • Nice cover, nice feeling. But original song wasnt there.

  • thanks, as title suggests, it's an adaption, not a replica.

    cheers

  • Very Smooth, my friend. Thanks for sharing!

    Great slide work.

  • thanks

  • argh man. the cheapest national down here is about $5000...2nd hand too. Its about 10,000 for a tricone. (new zealand dollars $NZ1 = ~0.67c (US$) ) looks like I'll be having a National Tricone for my deathbed last meal.

  • Don't give up , second hand Nationals are great, played in they sound better than new ones.

Keep your eye on Ebay, even if you have to import to NZ , it still may be cheaper, if you can get one for about 2000.

Check pout Elderly Instruments in Michigan, they are on the web and have many Nationals and they ship international, start at about 1800 for a single cone Delphi, and up for tricones.

    Cheers

  • great stuff

  • thanks

  • Great song and preformance! I like the tricone's sound its perfect!

    5***** and two thumb's up!

    Cheers!

  • Thanks a lot.

  • *sigh*

    Beautiful stuff my brother, thank-you.

Wonderful take on this magical piece of music

  • You're most welcome and thanks friend!

    It's a classic tune.

  • Great stuff, I loved it.

  • thankyou!

  • Great playing, man...

  • thanks

  • Has anyone had a chance to try out an Ellis Baritone tricone yet? The dude on youtube sounds good but is light on the chops! Just wondering if it is as kick ass as it seems? Also

I have a Degree in music and have studied Bach,Beethoven and Mozart and no matter how much I learn I still come back to this kind of music with a warm heart! True slide guitar is where you can see who has a soul and who is BULL! You have a soul and then some! keep it up man!

  • Your too kind! Thanks

  • Wonderful comment... I agree with each word.

It's true that slide music really brings out the soul of the player (if it exists! hehe)

  • Ok, I think everyone has a soul, some express (it) through music, others some completely differently, non-musical,and then some again don't seem to express much at all, but that doesn't prove either way the existence of a pure, spiritual thing such as a soul,I guess that's why it's a matter of belief or faith.

WOW! I'd better shut up now....................

    Cheers

  • It's mostly about the player. The guitar can be a nylon string classical or a heavily overdriven electric one, but it's just an instrument. A tool, just waiting for the right set of hands to come and bring it to life.

With all that being said, I love this clip.

  • thanks so much

  • great playing, love the tricone, love it so much i have the same model !
