Love Loyalty Song. I tried searching for Pete Doherty and Loyalty Song to see if any clips of him playing this solo but no luck. Is anybody playing this beautiful song these days? Loved Shotters but DIA is special.
he's more exciting and distinctive (the way he makes his guitar screech! wow!) than any of the scale king power chord guitarists you hear atm 'he plays from the soul 'hence why his playin comes across as flashy and shambolic 'the only thing i can agree with is that he does seem to care more about technique than melody in some parts 'mick does the job but i'd have pat back anyday personally.much more excting to watch as well.
get it up yezzzzzzzzz all green day are shite and so to is paddy who fuckin canny put ezzz pipe down the wanker but petes got talent ya bunch of fuckin wirdos
Patrick Walden left because of his own drug problems, he still plays occasionly with them. His guitar playing probably isn't that great, but it's very destinctive and you can't say that about many guitarists these days. Bear in mind he co-wrote a good bit of Down In Albion(Pipedown, Loyalty song, Fuck Forever, 8 dead boys, Up the morning), best guitar riffs on the album in those songs.
pete doherty is very talented and so is babyshambles. and i agree with thenito about the green day thing. i used to love gd until i heard the libertines and babyshambles and i was like... this is real rock. green day sucks. plus, pete isn't all messed up drugs that much anymore.
cos julieswahn must be a green day lover...u no, the bands who have no talent atall, but ppl think thier good cos they get thier voices touched in a studio, this is proper rock, not maufactured rock

good bassline in 'Loyalty Song', could be a bit of a steal from GD's 'No One Knows'. Good vid. British is one 't' though :)
