Relax hitler, ZP was a pretty shitty metal singer anyway... his voice was too thin and powerless.... you want to hear a real metal singer? Check out Blind Guardian.

ZP is probably the most overrated singer ever. (After John Lennon of course)

@vtheig I don't know, Hansi's and ZP's voices both can reach some high notes, I think the difference is that the Dragonforce songs used a bit more high-pitched vocals than Blind Guardian.

The thing is that ZP's voice is really weak and thin, like it lacks power on high notes, and to be honest on low notes as well. Check out Tobias Sammet form Edguy/Avantasia, he has a powerful voice on high notes as well as on low notes. My point of view is very objective here, nothing personal against ZP, i just think that he is a very over-rated metal singer, and his voice is weak.

@leoandmyles Hi Myles! Thanks for the response. In my opinion Tobias Sammet is actually UNDER-rated, and his voice is very full and powerful. Yeah ZP have high notes, yeah he can sustain them, but his voice is NOT powerful or pretty (i don't want to say that his voice is disgusting but you get my point) Tony Kakko, on the other hand, has a BEAUTIFUL voice! Pretty much one of the most beautiful voices in metal :)

Forget about holding notes, it's voice color that we're talking about here! :P
