Yeah, there are criminals out there that record peoples account numbers, they get an image of your checks or your debit card number. And ofcourse, your signature. when camera phones came out, there was a huge wave of criminal activity in banks. peolple pretending to talk on the phone but they were taking pictures and video of confidential client information.
@RockinRight hey this kickout has been worth it thanks for watching and if they were worried that much about security they would install badge readers on the elevators
Tip: You never bring camcorders to an bank office building. The owner of the building will call security. If you get caught, you go to security office. Once you're outside of the elevator, stop filming and hide it.
I was almost kicked out of a mall for filming. I was caught while filming an escalator. I was lucky that I wasn't escorted of property, I wasn't asked to delete the videos I took at the mall, and I did not lose my camera. I put my camera in a camera bag and the people would assume that it is not a camera bag.
You're special!

this rule is dumb, and I bet President Bush and the republicans were behind all of this.
Barack Obama, you better allow filming in public buildings

@cubsrule2040
Obama's probably doing it himself...along with Google. Be careful what you wish for.

Maybe they were suspicious about bank robbery and didn't allow video recording for security reasons.
CaptainElevator42189 3 years ago
im sure your right cause they had a metal detector and a guy coming up an elevator with a camera bag would look suspect
