There's shit music in America too, and don't you deny it. Mainly the self-centred, crappy emo bullshit that's pumped over the radio constantly. Britain and America both have meaningless bullshit music, but at least music in Britain is happier.
I swear to god I heard a song on the radio the other day where the 'big line' was "[pious voice] these are the problems of... dementia ['sad' over the top guitar solo]"
