Mellencamp tried singing low with Johnny and then realized Johnny was much lower. Mellencamp sang even lower, but realized that it wouldn't work, so he decided to sing higher. Afterward, Johnny told Mellencamp that "we should've rehearsed." Mellthencamp calls this the most embarrassing moment of his career.
What I was saying before is that Mellenclamp is probably just as tall as me, at least 5'10. Cuz this is how I stand next to my 6'2 friends (like Mellenclamp next to John in this vid). hahah and YES, I AM 5'10,5 not taller, not shorter..

I just came to think of something: I read that Cash was a big guy so I looked it up. Johnny's height is, according to himself and Imdb movie database, 6'2 and John Mellenclamps height is 5'7,5.. I do notice a significant height difference between them both in this vid but I have friends that is 6'2 and I myself is 5'10,5. When I stand next to my friends when we're both barefoot I am noticeble shorter obviously. Hardly can believe Mellenclamp is only 5'7,5, he must be at least 5'10.. haha :P
