for crying out loud. more? he was living a very poor and uncertain life in what would now be considered a hostel, and did not qualify for the Austrian army. he was turned down after a poor physical. but he was in turn accepted into the German army. and yes he was elated at that. but he was a 'regimental runner' meaning he carried messages back and forth from the trenches. it was a dangerous job. but not one where he was killing people left and right expressing his violence. ugh.

okay RIDICULOUS LIE #2. it is true that Hitler did paint mostly landscapes. but he DID draw people in them sometimes, and also was known to do sketches of women (especially his niece Geli) whom he admired. just use google images and look up Hitler's paintings. you will find mostly landscapes but there are paintings of/with people.

Although i strongly dislike Hitler, i don't think that being in the army made him happy; according to John Keegan his Biographer he became very upset at the battle of Ypres. He was also the subject of riddiclue then, he was called the "artist", when he served as a runner behind the front lines.

According to others who served in his regiment in WWI, the ONLY reason Hitler survived thru all those skirmishes was because he was a total coward. He'd ACT like Mr. Tough Warrior- as he moved toward a place to hide & play dead. His commrades detested and distrusted him; they knew that SOMETHING was wrong w/ him. Several knew about his cowardice & threatened to report him; he responded by using the cover of battle to personally murder them one by one. He was NEVER a "hero", just a con-man demon.
