My Mom lives in Bullhead City, AZ is 103 miles from us in Las Vegas. Hwy Junction 160 E, is a 22mile canyon that features 3 VERY intense grades. One mountain stands straight up (like a finger) and is very similiar to the one you camped by in Northern Nevada. Being in Las Vegas I know very well about extreme temperature differences. GREAT JOB!
