  • thumbs up if you think TOM DWAN owns them all for "Best Hand I've EVER PLAYED"

  • Haha I remember thinking the Arieh laydown was the pinnacle of poker plays. It really isn't that hard. You're ONLY beating a bluff there against a good player. And John Murphy is a good player.

  • Oh come on Dan, you must've played a better hand than called a shove in Main event HU with top pair to a super wet board...

  • 4:52 "the last move, was almost sort of a bluff" poker knowledge have gone a long way since the moneymaker effect

  • DAH FUCK U LAY THAT DOWN?

  • It's a good laydown, but there's little he good beat, only a smaller flush and a bluff.

  • @Doppe1ganger lol.. only 95% of his range.. kid.

  • @Doppe1ganger what about, AJ, KJ, or any trips with Q? AQ, KQ, 10 Q, 9 Q, and all small flushes

things that could beat him: 66, JJ, 22, Q6, QJ, Q2, QQ, A high flush

it was a flipcoin calling there

  • Lays down a K-high flush. Should haif paid heem auff.

  • it's the cloth that make him look older ^^

  • awesome!

  • 22 years old youngest player?I can tell this is old hahaha

  • Its unreal that Full Tilt Poker gives people 600$ just for signing up with them using referral code: FTUS600

  • wtf this is just a standard hand played retardedly

  • Harrington's got 9-8 for a pari of 8's and Goldfarb got A-7 ... (for a pair of NOTHING forgot to say) ahahhahaha

  • Gary Bush has no business talking about this hand before Thayler folds.

  • I'd love phil ivey to talk about his best hand ever.

  • @ZioloWodka phil ivey have too many best hand to talk about. the only best hand he wants to talk about is the hand that let him win the wsop main event.

  • god i wish i could have been playing poker 15 years ago. When you call a single flop bet with top pair heads up and its described as a "GUTSY" call, imagine how soft those games were.

  • that last hand...is awesome, such a good read that his K high flush is beat....awesome play!

  • that gavin hand was lame, more so was the players he was playing against! fish boy..."he either has the nuts or nothing" lol....like wtf......thats like saying the chance or rain or shine today is 50/50. well obviously it has to be one or the other rocket scientists!

  • @rico305305 nuts is unbeatable u idiot, not the winning hand

  • Easy, its his flat brim green boston hat. That makes him look so much younger.

  • lol, the dealers haircut at 4:35

  • The greatest hand played IMO was the final hand between Stu Ungar and Mansour Matloubi in WSOP 1990. I recall he called the bluff all in of Matloubi at the river and won with just a 10 high card.

  • @trampleking83 they were playing heads up cash, it was 4 5 off vs 9 10

  • the dude had qeen king ?

    thats a good fold man

  • wait bluffing someone off 3rd pair 8 kicker is a great hand???

  • he's a bad poker player too

  • how is that a gutsy call, as if he would shove an open pair that quick to get maximum value please grow up, dans the man

  • dan harrington is the man.

  • How is it that Dan Harrington looks older in 1995 than he does today?

  • He has some cash for expensive surgery I guess :P

  • mONEY makes man young=)

  • hahhahahahahhaahhaaha thats so true

  • @moldyorangepeel it's called "cocaine abuse"

  • @moldyorangepeel its the green cap!

  • @moldyorangepeel Botox

  • @moldyorangepeel

    are you an idiot?

giving me lessons? thats like trying to teach tiger woods how to tee off! lol

  • @moldyorangepeel

its the magic of a baseball cap

  • @moldyorangepeel IDk but that green Boston hat is suhweet!

  • None of them wear their braclets....if i had one thats a perma part of my wardrobe lol

  • @moldyorangepeel its the hat lol

  • @moldyorangepeel It's the high definition ;)

  • LOL, best hand he ever played he bluffed third pair, lolz

  • That full house should have CR all-in. What a noob...

  • so true...

  • lol, crying hippie...

  • the guy in the SB looks like t-1000 from the terminator lmao

  • 1 fckin million $ !

  • if it was top pair kings, ok. but with eights... good call. not easy.

  • when its heads up, it is an easy call.

  • no, the river didnt make twopair on the board.. the river brought onepair on the board

  • anyone know what funk tune is playing in the middle of this vid?

  • what a lay down with K high flush

  • i think that hand would have been different if he didnt go all in and just bet instead... but still a very good laydown

  • You know what, from a sheer poker standpoint, these may not be great plays or spectacular skill sets, but you have to consider the circumstances of most of these. Final hands in '98, '95, hands against legends (Lederer)...

A better description might be Most Memorable hands, but either way, loved this segment and read the book referenced in Part One. Fascinating stuff.

"The Best Hand I Ever Played" by Steve Rosenbloom. Find it at your local bookstore or online, anywhere, now!

  • your all noobs

  • and im proud of it

  • "the last hand was kind of a bluff wasnt it?" NO SHIT LOL

  • Griffin and Harrington hands = wtf???

  • lol, i know, not that big a deal

  • arieh laydown was awesome tho

  • true dat, arieh's the shit

  • John Murphy could have gotten paid off big time with a value bet there. Or just checked and let Arieh hang himself.

  • thats what I was thinking, a check and I think arieh has to bet there.

  • no nick name stop trying to sound like ur a frikin pro "you dont bet the river with medium strength hands" are u retarded? one guy had a flush and a full house of course they are goign to bet

  • lol.

theres nothing wrong with betting the full house, thats not the medium strength hand. betting a flush on a paired board, when you think they may have the house, THAT is betting a medium strength hand on the river.

For Arieh, if he got a check on the river, I suspect he checks behind, which is the correct play.

I'm not trying to sound like a pro, merely stating facts.

(evidently im not the retard here... at least poker wise anyway :p)

  • So u are saying that arieh called on te turn to draw to the flush, and getting there he would check behind. Wow, do u play online? If u do, we should play. I wanna play ppl who draw t the river to check when they get there...

  • nobody knows what kind of reads and tells they had on the opponents we all won´t be able to find the right move there!

  • I make plays too anyone who plays poker seriously have shit happen. this one time I......

  • heads up top pair? whats the big deal? best hand????

  • stfu will ya???

  • These are the shows that real poker players want to watch. All that other flashy stuff is for the fishes. I really enjoy this show here because it is about great poker playing. I wish ESPN would show more of stuff like this rather than the distorted view outlandish lucky Donkey plays that they usually show.

  • i agree... but i love donkeys cause they always doubles me up... i hate it when they play bad and gets lucky lol

  • arieh did a hell of a laydown. prette strong.

  • these guys are suppost to be pro's?....pffft

  • that realli was an amazing laydown on the flush..absolutely outstanding.

  • slowplaying with top pair

    amazing play

  • That laydown was so out of this world, amazing.

  • I hate Arieh, but that was one hell of a laydown.

  • gavin griffin made a great play ? a great play ? am I missing something? limp pot, 3rd pair against 2 players is barely *playable*. what are they smoking?

  • dude, his play beats harrington's hand...i was blown away after seeing that garbage is what he referred to as the best he ever played.

  • harrington's hand

  • harrington's hand may not be the best ever , but it was very well played.

he played the hand perfectly , but the hability to read his opponent was just uncanny.

  • oh my god! gavin griffin! he bluffed a guy off third pair from the button in a limp pot! what a fantastic play that i've never seen before!

    not

  • errr it was actually pretty nice play when the 2 opponents puts him on a big hand... and also the two opponent are weak

  • Harrington is GOD!!!
