  • @zdarovje @StereoBreedMedia definitely agreed.. I've been shooting for only a half year, and to say this is fake is obscured. They're great images to start out with right off the iphone, before and after photos show the original photo and processed. Hard to understand how you missed that.

  • Yoko is hot john Lennon is better !

  • Which version of the Iphone did you use?

  • 'Im sorry little pillow' That right there deserved a thumbs up :)

  • These shots are great but sadly overdone.

  • whats the music in this video?

  • fanboy defending his idols.

  • a reflector itself wont make the i4 camera better..... also it cant create huge bokeh&DOF which is seen in this video. fake&gay

got an i4 myself so im not hatin' IOS....

  • @zdarovje there is no DOF in this video... Just blur thrown overtop the image. you can see that the blur spills onto her clothes sometimes and with "legit" DOF her clothes would be in focus. This isnt fake, and its not making the i4 camera better. It's really a beginners perspective to say that this video is fake because any photographer that has been doing this for 2+ years knows its not that hard to create these images with any camera...

  • yoko is hot

  • this is insaneeeeee. fantastic edits too!

  • model is so pretty

  • a really great work!i like it

  • Nice job. And that girl is so bomb.

  • wow.... man

  • fantastic!

    well done, love the shots!

    :D

    made me laugh as well.

"comes with a SICK fixed aperture lens..."

  • are you using an app or are you editing in photoshop/ligthroom? :)

  • This is great. I forced myself to only use my iPhone for photos and actually sold my entire Canon 5D MKII and lenses cause its just to easy to reach for that when Idid photos. Everyone is going to have a mobile device soon and the best camera you own is the one with you right?

  • @fuzzyheadinfo I'm sure it's best to have a standard camera and a dslr.. cuz you don't use one for every single thing, but what do I know? I only have a smartphone

  • @AnyaEPhotography Yeah, unfortunately screen calibrations will make the image look significantly different from monitor to monitor. Our calibrations are specific to our printers, and the lab that we use. Thanks for your feedback!

  • lol. the editing makes ALL the difference between a normal photo and a professional looking one

  • You have some pretty hot assistants lol.

  • Where can i buy the two reflectors and the two assistants kit for 100 bucks?

  • @ilsk3n It just requires you to be resourceful, here is exactly what we paid for the shoot.

    2x Reflectors on Amazon = $60, 2x High School Student Assistants at $8/hr for 2 hrs = $32, Model = time for prints: Total cost = $92

  • After the manly talk, 3:42 lolwtf, epic fail

  • To people complaining about post-processing... Can't you see the shots are amazing already before the editing? (I guess the first version of the photos is SOOC)

  • @LordRimoah Hehe, thanks amigo for lookin out =)

Yeah, tried to show the first version straight from camera really wasn't far from the post produced version... apparently there were many that didn't get it ;)

  • This is just awesome. I guess photographic equipment sellers don't want you to know this :D

  • Check out Terry Richardson's work - he started by using disposable point and shoots WAY before cell phone photography

  • where can i get two two lighting assistants and a hot model for $30?

  • Take that gear queers. What's the excuse now? Oh right ... its all about the photo processing software. Yes the software you can get for free

  • Excellent video!!! a really good job

  • She's HOT like hell!

  • Thanks for that i loved the f stoppers version and i love this one too. It's great to see that it's talent that makes the photo not equipment.

I'd like to see learn more about using flash and lighting generally please

  • Hey everyone, thank you so much for all of your comments and feedback. I would like to do some follow up videos to this shoot. So, tell me what you guys want to learn the most. Lighting techniques, post production techniques, camera techniques, etc?

    -- Pye

  • @SLRlounge Lighting techniques would be great. I just bought my first reflector, so I would love some tips on how to get the best results out of it. Subbed!

  • For the post-processing haters, as mentioned, check out free software like GIMP or free online editors like pixlr.com, etc.

  • @ Everyone, seriously, you could even edit with the free Photoshop App on the iPhone. It's now even got Skin Smoothing...

  • iphones are gay,you are gay

  • We can get excellent photos with basic equipment. But most people cannot even focus their point and shoots.

  • What's the music?

  • Just a quick note regarding the editing. radoo86 and sleepgolfer77 are absolutely right in their comments.

Edits were made in Photoshop, and were limited to cloning/healing skin blemishes and background garbage, skin smoothing, tonal corrections and sharpening. All of which can be done in basic editors such as Photoshop Elements, which can be purchased for under $100 (some are even free).

Processing is just a part of photography, it was since film, and still is.

  • @SLRlounge I find the uncorrected photos *way* more pleasing to the eye. The processed versions, while maybe more real, are overdone on the blue-green side. No warmth at all. Is this a personal preference thing? What's wrong with the color balance of the originals? Great shots btw.

  • @grahammj Is your screen color calibrated with a calibration device? If not, it will show up cold.

  • PLS watch "Consequences of Creativity: Shooting on the Street " by Joe McNally

  • This is awesome! The shoot, travel, editing. It all takes a huge amount of time, energy & talent to produce such great content!

For those STILL complaining in the comments:

    1. As a photographer, you already have Lightroom, Aperture, &/or some version of Photoshop (GIMP is FREE).

    2. Dozens of iPhone/iPod apps, including a basic Abobe PS (also FREE) do an amazing job of post process editing. Right on the iPhone/iPad.

    3. If you don't post process your photos, please post a link to your work!!

  • Thank you for allowing us to sponsor your shoot

  • You forgot Adobe Photoshop which costs, what, 800 bucks?

  • @sleepgolfer77 - you don't need Photoshop CS5 for those edits. ANY photo editing software will work, even $89 Photoshop Elements.

  • @laneeric Or even free software like Gimp can do the same job :)

  • Comment removed

  • This is great however I see that most of the magic is done through post processing... You may not have expensive lights but processing software is expensive as well..

  • Great job!

  • LOVELY!

  • Would please provide the link to find out more about the bag you were carrying?

    Thank you!

  • never mind! I should have waited at the end of the video before I asked!

  • Very well done, with some post-processing the photo looks decent, sure it's not the same end result you get from a DSLR but it's impressive.

  • Nice!

  • Lee's video was fantastic, and very inspirational actually. This video is just as good if not better, so good work! :)

  • good job, one or two post BTS would have been nice... since that is 50% of what makes the shoot successful (the other fifty being the reflectors)

  • Yeah right, How much is PS again? :)

  • Great job, man!

  • Haha, sorry Cody... It was in the planning for a while, just never got around to it, these things take a surprisingly ridiculous amount of time to put together =)

  • @SLRlounge haha its no worries, I can tell you had time invested in this and you pulled it off greatly!

  • Lol I was about to shoot a response video to the iphone, you bet me too it lol. Very well done! Congrats!

  • Sure, anyone can make great pictures in a field of wheat!!! Just kidding, great job, loved it!!! Re-posting on FB...
