Holy doping. Lance, Rasmussen, Valv-Piti! An era a lot of us would like to forget. None the less, a good win for Alejandro considering the times. None the less, Valverde seems to be riding like he's clean these days, let's hope he can keep it up and show honest results.
rasmussen no doping, i think valverde was no client of puerto, because he lost time in the 3th week of the Tour and Vuelta. What Puerto did was trying to make the 3th week stable. Heras is a perfect example
Uh, Rasmussen came up positive for Dynepo after he was thrown out of the 2007 Tour. Just Google Rasmussen and Dynepo, you'll find plenty of info.
I tend to agree with your assessment of Heras and how doping helps. But Valverde's name was very likely associated with Operation Puerto. But I agree, in last year's Tour he rode natural, like he was clean. We don't know for sure, be he probably was clean.

Valverde has been banned for cycling in Italy, for being named in Puerto case.
Im sure thats not the only time he tried..
Of course Valverde is doped, and Im NOT trying to upset anyone... (you truly know im right)
