One can get all 3 of the collected hardcover herbie books from amazon, for 100 bucks more or less, a savings of 50 bucks, and money well spent! I bought them, despite owing every original issue. Store them in a fireproof safe. The most funniest comic ever made, even after 44 years.
I remember Herbie, didn't read any but used to look at some of the covers in the comicbook store I worked in as a kid! They looked pretty funny! I still read some of the new stuff but have more of a fondness for the Golden and Silver age stuff! Anyway, I do think there are more older collectibles on the east coast then the west! Not saying there isn't any real old stuff out there, i'm sure there is tons but east cost has more! Anyhoot, Cheers Steve!
Wow...You flew over the desert of Arizona. Cool. You should take a train trip out west, there would be a lot more to see. Some day, I would like to see an ocean. LOL and you went from one to the other.
I wonder if Dagan has heard about Herbie. Must remember to ask him in the morning.
@pennysayspeace It was a fascinating flight, I was just in awe of the majesty of the desert as seen from the air. Thanks for stopping by, Pen, have a wonderful week! :)
@escapefrmla You won't regret it, those comics, published by the ACG Group during the '60s, were some of the most offbeat and darn funniest ever published. Have a great week, George! :)
