I enjoyed this video. One of the better dancers I've seen performing this ballet ... She's electrifying. Sometimes a bit more "flowery" in the arms than S.G., but no two dancers have the same style (which is a good thing, IMHO) :-)

This soloist is amazing, better than most I have seen. She has really good body control down to the very subtle control of her finer body movements, which in performing something like this is a feat. Its the little minute stuff that takes someone above being just a good dancer.

I agree totally with you. She is so perfect in her interpretation of the choreography. So much technique and artistry. No one will top Sylvie Guillem, but she is so very, very close!

AMAAAZING !!!

but she slipped at 3:23, good thing it didn't affect the rest, cuz it was otherwise perfect. Such strenght, such flexibility, such balance !! and it was smooth and stylish ! Russian ballerinas sure have that one thing : style ! for some ballets it may seem too much, but for such a ballet as In the Middle, it is just perfect !

The first soloist was amazing... she should have done the pas de deux. she lose and yet stron in her movements and dynamics... the second girl was strong but she wasnt darling. flexibilty just doesnt cut it... but props to all. that shit aint easy..i know.

yes but you can see the diferences...this dancer as the style of forsythe. darcy bussel in that video its to heavy, but still a good dancer. but this its much better.

I totally agree with " noelsalzman ": this pas de deux is very different in each company ! this girl is beautiful but if the dancer man isn't here, she's nothing.

Yes, and the other girl (the main character of this piece) looks like is Viktoria Tereshkina. I just saw the two dancing the same roles on Thursday at the New York City Center. Imaging you are five rows from the stage... :^)
