I laugh at all the people trying to defend the iphone with their life because they don't want it to go out of style, and they don't want to admit how much better the omnia is. 5mp camera that can also do video, 8 or 16gb built in memory with up to 16gb expandable, optical mouse in addition to the touch screen... the list goes on. Personally it's the 5mp camera and music player that made me want to get it. I had the choice and went with the omnia, it is better whether you like it or not.

In my opinion, iPhone wanted to become a very smart interactive gadget that, coincidentally, can also work like a phone. But, so far, they couldn't do either of them right. To cut the story short: voice/camera/communication in general - definitely Omnia, movies/user interaction - Omnia again (but only for the moment; if iPhone will continue its improvement process, it will, most likely, outcome Omnia or any other similar smart phone on the market).

All my friends who bought the samsung has complained about how unresponsive the screen is and ugly the interface is compared to iPhone, I always thought people would be bias if they paid money for the product but I guess not. yo dude i got omnia, i faced the same prob but the reason aint cuz of the phone type, its because all u store goes to "device" which is where ur windows is installed. Just like a computer, if ur windows is installed in drive C, and when ur drive C is full, the comp goes slow, therefor, u gotta send all musics and pics and stuff from ur "device" to "my storage", ull see how faster it becomes once u send 'em there and u delete the stuff in "device". It works 100%.

was it worth of comparing iphone vs omnia?? which one is best?? I have no idea. I'm not care about mobile but it's different when it comes to mp3 player. iphone and ipod touch are completely the same on case and on fuction. Nothing special but i geek into ipod. As the ipod compare to cowon or yp-p3, i'm too much to said about them. especially, p3 isn't release yet. but the press so much cover on P3. The one thing that i love is offers iplayer. It's extremely hot news to the fan of BBC user

In my opinion, iPhone wanted to become a very smart interactive gadget that, coincidentally, can also work like a phone. But, so far, they couldn't do either of them right. To cut the story short: voice/camera/communication in general - definitely Omnia, movies/user interaction - Omnia again (but only for the moment; if iPhone will continue its improvement process, it will, most likely, outcome Omnia or any other similar smart phone on the market).

Yeah the Omnia has everything except its hard to use as hell. All my friends who bought the samsung has complained about how unresponsive the screen is and ugly the interface is compared to iPhone, I always thought people would be bias if they paid money for the product but I guess not. Its got a lot more freedom than the iphone but with a lacking touchscreen, its no better than all the other phones on the market, Nokia etc

The main features I'm looking for is e-mail and you-tube. I own a MAc and I doubt that the Omnia will be able to work. With that said I'm going with the I-phone.

yo dude i got omnia, i faced the same prob but the reason aint cuz of the phone type, its because all u store goes to "device" which is where ur windows is installed. Just like a computer, if ur windows is installed in drive C, and when ur drive C is full, the comp goes slow, therefor, u gotta send all musics and pics and stuff from ur "device" to "my storage", ull see how faster it becomes once u send 'em there and u delete the stuff in "device". It works 100%.

i think for overall Omnia is better but if you really wants richer multimedia device (like entertainment features) then just go for iphone. Omnia is the combination of business n entertainment phone but not very specific in a particular area.
anyway, both are good phones it just depend what are you really looking for.

i have both omnia n iphone 3g. If you prefer using navigator, you should buy omnia. If you like musics and games buy iphone 3g. Oh, iphone touch screen is smooth and easy but it is hard to touch the screen in omnia.

if u do any type of on-the-go business, then the omnia, bb storm, or bb bold is a must. iphone is basically an ipod with a phone and internet support, but that doesnt make it a smartphone. i was tricked by apple and bought the iphone 3g in july, trust me its NOT meant for business. i switched to the bb storm yesterday and wouldnt trade it 4 the world. omnia looks good, but im not a fan of windows mobile, maybe the newer one is good tho

my advice having had si900 stay clear of it iphone well i wouldnt buy that either. Xmas is round the corner business will be selling their staff into slavery soon so you will get a better deal in the new year plus technology will have improved onthe i900 front hopefully a ver2 with better screen, touch,3.5mm jack, and better wifi support. iphone well that bit of tech still got its chastity belt on but there are enough horny hacks out there ready to shaft it good stylee
