  • @ghostcar Thanks for the comments! Glad you enjoyed the video!

  • where are you standing and how come you can hold the camera so well..steady I mean?

  • sound of the wind is music to my ears James.

  • 3:34 Thats one hellava tough rubbish bin!

  • They bolt it down to stop the pikeys pinching them lol

  • Hi James are you going to Northern Luzon for Typhoon Lupit's arrival? I think there is a slight chance for hong kong to get some outer bands from Lupit. But the south china sea is cooling down so it may dissipate.

  • Those signs along the coast are so firmly built. They don't even move a bit under such a strong wind.

  • Amazing! I've been a few times but haven't caught a typhoon yet. Maybe next time. :P

  • If the pilot of Virgin Atlantic Sydney to Hong Kong that night is reading this, my sincere thanks and much praise for your textbook landing in those conditions. I was less impressed with the aft hostesses who screached like banshees during the turbulance and until the Exit signs came on whereupon I suspect they were saying prayers like the rest of us.

  • Professional video ,so Good

  • is the guy at 2:29 trying to give the storm the bird?

  • LMAO! looks exactly like that

  • I would love to be in a typhoon or a hurricane, I almost had a chance to experience hurricane Adrian down here in El Salvador back in 2005. But, the storm fizzled out before landfall.

  • TIN0408 you can see his middle finger's up

  • Actually taking wind speed measurements with a digital anemometer

  • I am wondering how u can hold the camera steadily

  • Awesome James!!

  • your next mission is cat5 choi wan

  • agree, rent a ship and visit choi wan NOW

  • pay attention on 2:33..wt the hell do this idiot doing....still on fishing??

  • more nice than the tvb atv n nowtv

  • Waku1976- Hurricanes and typhoons are the same thing, just different names for different areas of the globe. The SuperTyphoon to the east of the phillipines right now is equivalent to a category 4 hurricane, and will intensify to cat 5.

  • Nice job done, James, you risked your life in doing so, well appreciated, but not another time, okay? I notice that your reporting is great but if you rehearse more to cut off the speech fillers, you could become a great news reporter. Bravo.

  • Those chasers w/o safety precautions are putting their own lives at risk. There should be some casualties before the public realise that it's rather dangerous to go out "enjoying" the typhoon

  • 幸好香港的建築物起的夠好..

    不然像台灣依樣,,,

  • Nice Job

  • o my God!!!

  • 其實我都好想係打風既時候去吹下...

  • 好想試下mj 45°

  • It was horrible on that nite!! Video is great , thx to James.

  • I am from Hong Kong but this typhoon is nothing compared with the ones in Florida or Carribean every year

  • Those are hurricanes...

  • Typhoon in Pacific Ocean = Hurricane in Atlantic Ocean

Both are the same, just naming difference.

  • Just amazing how you are getting all of this incredible footage this year of typhoons James! The one storm chaser that seems to be getting extreme storm footage this year for 2009! Fantastic Video!!!

  • Such a professional footage. It really tells the power of typhoon.....

  • thank your video

  • Amazing footage!

  • awesome video , thanks

  • 電腦特技-,-?

  • No. It was real. Were you in HK during the typhoon?

  • good job man!

  • Koppu was certainly windy! woke me up nearly every 2 hours... thinking the windows would break... lol

  • Great video James. I really like when a storm comes in while it is rapidly intensifying.

  • Great video man. The 2 retarded kids are making me laugh my ass off with their middle fingers at 2:14 & 2:30
