I just got an Atrix and Im pretty happy with it. GS2 is definetely better, but here at Brazil the price difference is too big

The only thing that really makes me sad is that I wanted a 4.3 screen, lol

This Atrix is SLOW (bad quality or was altered intentionally). I did the same benchmark test and my Atrix (2.3.4) boot faster.. finish a little slower than the Samsung Galaxy S2

Samsung Galaxy 2 is bit faster because it is running at an lower resolution (840x400) versus the Atrix (qHD 960x540) and both are comparable in processor power, but the GS2 comes ahead since it doesn't have to work as hard to output to a smaller resolution compared to the Atrix's 35% bigger resolution.

And, the Atrix's 4 inch screen 960x540 has better pixel density than the GS2's 4.3 inch screen 800x480.

for everyday use the Samsung is far better. but what you've gotta remember is that the Tegra 2 is designed for specific games based around the tegra dev kit and the games that are being made look amazing

galaxy 2's metal rim is more of a plastic with a metal layer that can peel off if scratched of scuffed deep enough, its the same thing that my samsung vibrant used.

I've had the GSII for almost 3 months now and it the best android based and fastest I've had so far. I came from an iPhone 4 and I have no regrets. Alsot it syncs perfectly with Samsung Kies (contacts, calendar, memos, music, and pictures) with this downloadable companion sotware for free.

@chestvrg a couple of my friends made the switch too! one of them made the switch on the atrix & the rest came on board when the galaxy came out for the 4 big networks. its no wonder apple seems desperate to stop samsung. most of the people i know made the switch from an iphone to a samsung galaxy varient. now even the motorola's are taking some...android's image is changing for the better & with the google+ its going to be a major addition to android. ive had my google plus for 1 month & its A+

@Son37Lumiere the pentile matrix that mororola uses keeps improving in every way! the droid 3 was a great screen & the photons 4G & bionic are the latest version of there pentile screen, 2 reviews from iphone owners claimed in there review that the screens are closest any screen has come to the retina screen in color reproduction contrast & sharpness, also my photon with its qHD screen get a quadrant score of 3100 *highest score ive gotten* but remember its only 1ghz not 1.2ghz with 800x450 ;)

I hope the Bionic's screen is better than the Droid X2's because that's pretty bad, you can really see the patterns because of the pentile matrix. I haven't seen the Photon's. The Droid 3's screen is great, barely noticeable, but it's also smaller at 4".

@Son37Lumiere i have the photon & i can say its the closest screen 2 the retina screen,color reproduction, contrast,sharpness & the brightness is as high as the nova screen from LG, LG=700 nits & qHD= 698 nits. 2 reviews that ive read B4 buying the photon & were written from iphone owners claimed the screen to be the closest to the retina screen, it is a better screen than the droid 3, dont know what they did. * ask to see a demo photon phone & make sure to disable the auto brightness*
