  • love this dance. Free and spirit lifting. Wow. I feel so good .

Love, Love . Love this dancing.

  • Thank you for sharing this wonderful video! I danced with Susana and have saved this so I can continue. This is just the inspiration I needed to get moving even if it's only for 12 minutes per day.

  • Thanks so much, Susana, for your inspiring courage and sweet, open heart.

  • Beautiful dancer, and seems like a sweet dear person.

After seeing this I think I will try to learn NIA.

  • I really like this music. Can you tell me what it is?

  • Thank you so much for your kind comments. Yes, freedom and joy is really what it's all about and the music, of course. This music is mostly from

Loteria de la Cumbia Loca by

Charanga Cakewalk. There's also a couple of songs from the Ozomatli albums Street Signs and Coming Up.

Wishing you many happy Nia classes!

  • u know watching susana move reminds us all of just being; being in our bodies, being in our feelings, letting go of anxiety and worry and just feeling and sensing what is. I can say that when I do NIA mostly at Samadhi I can be out of sorts big time and after one or two songs I forgot all of that and am happy just being able to move with the music, with the others who appreciate this way of being like me. No selfconsciousness just moving the way my body intended,

  • I saw this video a month and a half ago while thinking over whether to take my White Belt or not. After seeing you and more than that- hearing what you had to say, I had no more doubts. It's like you were speeking out my feelings! I undentified with you so much that I knew NIA would work for me aswell! Now I am a lisanced teacher and soon I will be teaching. I want to thank you for your oppeness and for sharing your inner fealings in such an othentic way! You are wounderful!!!!

  • This video resonated for me in surprising ways, enough to research Nia, fall in love with it, and have already signed up for my first class. Watching you dance, Susana, looks like freedom and joy. I want to feel that way too! I like the music - can you tell me what it is, where I can purchase it?
