ei, guys! it depends on the contingent on how they are going to present their piece and that it doesn't take the fact that they should put a signature from what they are known for. the judges are chosen based on their fields of expertise and that they are not dumb enough not to know which is better from not. cheerdancing is meant to amuse and cheer people and that it doesn't follow a specific rule. anyway, it's for your fun that's why that competition s established. dn't dig the waters that much

congrats engineering..... so proud ni step up namo sa inyu level..... im from commerce cheerdance, and i agree na, dli mana sa naay mga bugal2x ang routine, well, pwede mana ibutang pero dli murag playground demonstration na ang show. its a cheerdance competition, u have to step up. wala na sa audience impact, naa na sa PERFORMANCE, and ROUTINE... go engineering...

FYI- we moved on to the next level by slowly minimizing the reputation having JOKEs on the routine to make them compete not only for the school's Event but for future big event relevant to CHEERLEADING COMPETETION....

we know the performance was not so perfect but as u can see they're trying their best to maintain its tiltle.... they've practiced only in less than a month unlike those other teams....

please watch na lang unta ta then enjoy....

bitaw, its okaw to make patawa on ur routine but noe to the extent that mas dominant ang patawa kaysa main criteria for judging- which is CHEERDANCE...

i must admit that Engineering cheerdance started it mostly on PAKULO style wayback 8 or 9 years ago.. but sa ako time pag teach sa Engineering, i inherited and apply some PAkulo and funny acts but as the 3rd placer that much more on PLAYGROUND na tan-awon.

i've been to their last and final rehearsal sa engineering cheerdance team... to be honest, WALA sila ka practice nga na PERFECT ang ROUTINE... it's indeed a miracle na gamay ra ilang sayop... i've seen their hardwork and dedication to bring the very best out of what they have... and i know in ana sad sa ubang colleges...

^^ mao na let's respect each other... and to the Engineering CHeerdance Team, mao ni ang team nga nagkaIMPROVE every year... COngratulations!

In any criteria for juding.. no matter how complex it is.. there is always this hidden criterion.. and it's called DANGLING OF THE CROWD... Next time u need to work on that!

USC CHEERDANCE COMPETITION is far beyond what CHEERDANCE is. why?

here's the CRITERIA:

20% - THEME/ CONCEPT (should be relevant/project sport)

30% - CHOREOGRAPHY (creativity, steps, formation, transition)

30% - PERFORMANCE (precision and coordination)

20% - DYNAMISM

100% - TOTAL

*for variation purposes, pyramid buildings and stunts MAY BE allowed but limited to 2 levels only. body throwing is strictly prohibited.
