I opened it and there was a set of 2 tea towels with an H monogramed on them and then a ring box! It was the ring his grandfather proposed to his grandmother with over 50 years ago. Kailyn I too met my Fiance on plenty of fish. We started dating august 12th of this year and he proposed to me on November 26th. When you know they are the right one you just know. Like you I was in a bad relationship for 4 years and realized how a real man is supposed to treat you. People hate on you for getting engaged so early but it's very common. My husband make me work (I made the choice to work..which he doesn't like me working btw) because he makes good money. Not my fault he wanted to go to college for 5 years...sheesh!

People are being very judgmental about this. The main point is that it is HER life, not yours. Just because you wouldn't do the same thing does not make it wrong. Some people just know when they're in love without it taking years and if you haven't been in that situation then you probably shouldn't discuss it. @KurioseKreatur I agree with your point, but I'd like to say that my husband's parents met and 3 months later became engaged. 6 months later they married. Last year was their 25th wedding anniversary. No, they're not old-fashioned type people, they were genuinely in love, and have been this whole time. Not every quick engagement ends in failure :)

My Boyfriend of 5 years (we have a 4 years old Son) proposed on Christmas Eve 2011! We opened up all the gifts with my parents and sister and at the end he handed me another gift. I opened it and there was a set of 2 tea towels with an H monogramed on them and then a ring box! It was the ring his grandfather proposed to his grandmother with over 50 years ago. As soon as I saw the H and the ring box I knew =) The ring means so much more than any other he could have bought!

Kailyn I too met my Fiance on plenty of fish. We started dating august 12th of this year and he proposed to me on November 26th. When you know they are the right one you just know. Like you I was in a bad relationship for 4 years and realized how a real man is supposed to treat you. People hate on you for getting engaged so early but it's very common. Good luck and no matter how small your wedding is going to be it is very fun to plan!
