  • What is the name of the song?pls :)

  • what is this song so familiar to me

  • fuck.its beautiful. i wish i understood what they were saying.inspiring music.vibrant culture.

  • the saddest part of the beijing olympics was when the olympic flame was extinguished. :(

  • can anyone tell me what that song on the video is?

  • 北京欢迎您

    welcome to beijing

  • Beijing huan ying ni

Beijing welcomes you (hanzi to feifeis comment)

  • muy bonito video sencillo pero muy representativo de los juegos olimpicoss....saludoss sergio chan, Mexico sinaloa

  • Most of the bashing about Beijing Olympics come from Koreans, Japanese and stupid hippies. Well, hippies will protest about anything. That doesn't really count. But damn, why Koreans???? All of a sudden.. you think you are better than anyone else???

  • idiots if you put bejing 2008 in youtube theres the official channel, there you can watch a lot of videos (O_O)

  • the western press, doing freely job, means to search for dirty stuff to post and bad thing to talk about

  • Yup, that's the "free" press in a nutshell. If you think China had it bad during the Olympics, try dealing with it EVERYDAY here in the US. That's what happens though when news sources compete for ratings instead of quality.

  • Go China! :D

  • i watched the olympics 24/7 n then i was really sad the torch was put out but its gunna be hard 4 us 2 follow on from that as the whole thing they did was great

  • "they would try and ask me...

  • Yeah, I noticed that too... you had to be really careful with those journalists because most of them were simply looking for dirt to put into their papers and not actually support the Olympics-Paralympics. I would try and ask my tipsy questions about China's involvment with events in the world and I refused to answer.

  • DAMN!

the Olympics in Beijing looks sooo exciting

    =)

    i wish i was there.

  • 我爱中国 !!!!!!!!!

  • also, Michael Phelps has shown that he is the greatest Olympic swimmer, he was Domination. And i'm also proud that the country i'm brought up in got the most gold medals they have had since 1908. You got to admit that it is incredible for a small country to get 4th place in the olympics. I'm hoping to go to the London Olympics in 2012!

  • I think that the Bejing Olypmics was very successful. but a few chinese policeman need a bit of training... And hopefully United Kingdom will be just as sucessful or even better!

  • what! you are an idiot. WE helped you to kick out of Americans, do you know? You're just jealous. Your country cannot do it coz it's too weak, too poor. Do you know why? it's because its people are idiots, like you.

  • Katiusha79, are u insane. we didn't receive any help to host the games. WE helped Vietnam a lot. Do you know? you silly wanker. That's why ur country is so weak, because most Vietnamese are like you, brainless and illogical

  • im viet >_>

what are you trying to say...

  • Ohh...I think you'd better visit China..if you never see China,or don't saythat china is not good ...

  • 我爱我的祖国~~~

  • I love China!

  • western countries didn't do sht to help the Chinese host these olympics... after all the biased critisism, before olympics they couldnt say anything negative about how china hosted the olympics... you even admitted just like the whole world by saying Beijing was best olympics ever... nothing went wrong and china just silenced all critics...

  • OMG... LMAO... are you serious... wow... 5 stars for your comment... SIKE... first of all I've noticed how you sound like 10 year old when ever you comment back and your use of grammar is always wrong... 2nd... what do you mean by Italians and americans helped the Chinese... WTF... where did you get that from... you mean the strutures, stadiums... ?!?.... what do you even mean give an example... britian and Chicago even visited china to see how built the best transportation system ever...

  • umm... wow katsuisha the 30 year old slut who replys to everything I comment... what do you mean I don't know a thing?? are you saying I'm stupid??!? look who's talking fool... of course communism is red (official color)... its obvious... and guess what roses are red too... you didn't mention that so I guess you don't know anything either...

  • where was the shame??...

  • During the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, western journalists were harrassed by the Chinese government. Their ability to freely report the news was impaired. That kind of communist China political behaviour is simply unacceptable.

  • Really? Were you in Beijing? I was there, I saw a group of American journalist filming live in Tiananmen Square spewing out the typical western propaganda. My only regret was that I didn't walk by the female presenter and gave the one finger slute to the camera! Anyway the biggest losers in Beijing was no doubt western journalists, especially the Americans. They embarrased and disgraced their country in front of the whole world.

  • China is the best Country in the world as they proved how sucessful the olympic games were!!!!

  • @jcyoshi It was all over the news that what the world saw on tv was done with computers. It wasnt real.

  • It's an awesome closing as well as opening of China olympics.

  • nice

  • who the hell is tommy page? no ideas.

  • R u kidding me, Jimmy page is so old he looked completely out of sync with the female singer. That was probably the worst part of the closing ceremony. All the british did was some wannabe broadway sing and dance routine nobobdy was even cheering. Then they had beckham kick the ball into the audience...woopty doo! It can't compare with what the Chinese singers did. They had the whole place rockin!

  • maybe we have different tastes but to me the closing ceremony was just an extension of the opening...more acrobats and dancers....enough!!!!!............it was as boring as watching paint dry....i was flicking channels all through the opening and closing ceremonies

  • wow... lol... are you kidding me... i didnt get the british part... i couldnt even hear what they were singing... i cant remeber how it even sounds... all i remember were people dressed in plain clothes, unbrellas, and a girl witha soccerball stepping on peoples back... it was the most confusing portion... even though i didnt feel bad for britan b/c of all the biased hatred they wreak, my sister was...

  • did you know the bbc site out of the first 5000 people, 4000 said they were embarrased of the closing, they had to shut the comments off... now, they just selected a few, and 50/50 the comments... go check it out... and you can read about it too... my parents felt bad too for the british... please read your media, this time they arnt biased... it was a fact, truth that was clearly seen by the world...

  • awesome song, awesome video.

  • woahh! what song is this!

  • do you even know what the color red means... red means love, and prosperity... it has always been apart of chinese culture... red has always been the chinese color, thats why everycelebration, marriage, newyears, everything is red... you fool... funny how you seem to bash everything chinese...and try so hard to find somthing critical of china...

  • aussiephil99, chinese ppl (some) criticised the beijing 8 minute segment of 2004 athens paralympics and i think olympics as well. also ppl criticise things naturally.

the misunderstanding in cultural difference is when chinese ppl criticise social stability must remain. ppl make a comment but it wont change the order of the country. westeners tend to be more "wild" (hope u understand) and want drastic change and can be chaotic due to culture

  • @On1y1Ch1na To most humans, I think red means one thing: BLOOD. ;D

  • Thanks to Jamaica for taking some golds off the U.S.A

  • PREETY GOOD

  • why aren't there any actual videos? they take it down??

  • Apparently, they get taken down for copyright claims. The only videos are picture slideshows and fake videos put up to get people to comment on some other video so they can win phones or whatever.

  • ProudKoreanGuy: That's dropped out with leg injuries. No big deal.

  • My favorite olympics yet

  • go china, go jamaica. x33333 my dream has been fulfilled. i have always dream of china beijing olympic. it was the best ever.

  • It called "welcome to beijing"

    北京欢迎你

  • yes naman CHAMPION ang PILIPINaS!!!TINALO NG PILIPINAS ANG CHINA SA LAHAT!!!SALAMAT SA MGA HATID N KARANGALAN NG MGA ATLETA NATIN!!!the BEST PARANG DINAYA LANG.....

  • tingin ko di naman dinaya..

    tulad sa TKD

panalo dapat talaga si Tsomlee Go..

pangit lang talaga ang electronic score board..

di lang talaga convincing yung score board nila..

  • Think about it.

The Chinese invented fireworks to celebrate!

The West took it and used it to make WEAPONS!

  • Eh, actually, the Chinese were the first to invent guns. They just weren't very efficient compared to swords and arrows, so they set them aside until the technology could be refined.

  • theres no vid cuz its illegal to make 1 unless they aloow u 2 lolz..

  • Hrubá píseň :) Šušuššásí cicicuváá ... Luxus ...

  • What music did they play after the 'athletes' went onto the those plane stairs and the man opened up the scroll - it was beautiful and I cannot find it anywhere.

  • i find actually that then 3 atlets went to the stairs like in aircraft, the music was superb, and i can not find it anywhere.

  • it was called "i love beijing"
