what i really liked about this game is thats its not trying to be "cool" like with the shitty artdesign of dragon age 2. its nice and slow, down to earth, still very complex. more games should be like this. its really quality and content over look and dumbed down gameplay to appeal to more 12 year olds
To be fair, this is taking a very traditional approach to fantasy settings, while Dragon Age takes the whole "grim/dark" approach. DA2's art style at least helped differentiate it from most everything else (and I'm really sick of people complaining about DA2 not being Baldur's Gate, by the way). When I play Drakensang, the only things I notice that's really different from other RPG's are entirely in mechanics. Still, I'd prefer if more games like this would get released.
Man, we need more games like this! So what if it doesn't have super hd graphics, I has a nice pleasant feel to it. Does anyone know of games similar to this? Other then the Gothic series because I feel like a nice RPG after watching this.
Well, having learned German I can pick out bits and pieces of Swedish and Dutch that I'll understand, so I suppose it's not too big a stretch to go to Norwegian.
Norwegian is even more like german than swedish. Swedish has a kind of Slavic (don't know how to say it in English ) since they are close to finland, But Norwegian is pretty much a german language trough and trough
Well, Finnish isn't Slavic, just so you know. It's quite unique, linguistically-speaking (it's grouped in the Uralic languages, technically). Anyway, I think you might've meant "accent" or "tinge," as we say. Norwegian on the other hand is technically a Germanic language (as are Swedish, Dutch, Danish, English, and of course German).
Oh Finnish isn't slavic didn't know that. Yes the accent of the swedes sound so non german, but in northern Sweden they mix finnish in the language or dialect
@Tardjei939 incorrect. Rather that there are a lot of finnish immigrants living close to the northern border. But Finnish dialect is sounding very slavic when they they talk english.
German doesn't translate directly into English all the time. I could say "Ich kann deutsch sprechen" and it would be technically correct, but nobody really says stuff like that.
Do we English-speakers say "I am doing well" on a regular basis just because it's grammatically correct? Not really. We tend to say "I'm well" or "I'm good" (though the latter is improper, of course). It's just the way the language is.
How did i miss this vid ?oO

Well, if a game has a German demo but not an English one, you'll see more of it.
