Social services did nothing to help me when I was abused as a child. They knew and it was happening right under their noses. I didn't have a bath for years, i wore the same knickers for 6 months maybe more, I was nearly always hungry, I was beaten daily, called names that I didn't even understand. Social services used all this to put an interim care order onto my newborn baby despite that fact that I CAN look after him. Me and my son and have both been failed.
