I'd love to have one but it's still too expensive! $8,750 isn't what most would consider affordable. It's a shame that they didn't make it a bolt-on that hopefully would put the price more into the ballpark for most to afford.

Bolt on such a totally different sound- I don't know that it would even be the same kind of bass design or sound enough to call it Matt Garrison. The emperor standard is a lot less, but this like discussing affordable Ferraris or something.
