Christmas is a Wonderful time.. it is a GREAT opportunity to talk to people about the LOVE of Christ and share with them the gospel.. I love the season that fills people with the spirit of giving and sharing and careing for others.. ONe can NOT reach lost souls for Christ by kicking them in the teeth for their joy and spirit of love, and family that they are celebrating at this time of year. the whole point of being christian is to be christ like, thats what it means. if you read the bible you will see that jesus nor his apostles celebrated their bithdays. the only 2 birthdays that were recorded in the bible were from a king and queen who didnt worship god but idols. and at both birthday parties someone was murdered (thou shall not murder) one being jesus friend john the baptist. the same with halloween which is the devils day, i can't see god being happy were celebrating this day

And if you want to be technical that way, you are missing on the one birthday, one was executed, not murdererd, for displeasing Pharoah AND ONE WAS SET FREE!! Why do you concentrate on one side of that one? And for John the Baptist, you left out his murder was due to a vow made in a moment of lust! And it was HER idea, so maybe as long as women aren't at birthday parties dancing half nude, we'll be ok.... get real

In all likelihood, Jesus was born during the Feast of Tabernacles in late September. However, if God wanted us to celebrate His Son's birthday, then He would have mentioned the date the Bible but He didn't. And based on your argument, would you celebrate your birthday or anyone else's on a day he wasn't born on?

Great Vid , Bigmoney. Nicely put together. Im not Christian, but had debates with some fellow Christian friends who insisted "Christmas" was a HOLY day. I don't bellieve in Jesus as "god", but if Christians choose to believe it , go for it. But why celebrate your god's birthday on a day that is clearly not the day of his Miraculous birth? Yes, in his Miraculous birth , i believe in. So anyway if ur Christian & u really believe him to be god, then honor him by not celebrating a manmade ritual

@Taimkij - in the Christian faith, even if you found the spike that nailed Jesus' feet to the cross, it is not a HOLY thing, it is just a spike, though with significance! Our faith has no holy days, holy objects, holy places. The only sacred place is in the heart and soul of the faithful. And our hearts are to be towards those wandering without it in this world, as Christ is the answer for the inner peace man searches for. Christmas is a fun holiday, nothing more...

If you have Christian traits such as helping others, then why not be a Christian instead and have eternal life in God’s Kingdom? Jesus was the Word who spoke to Moses on Sinai and later became flesh, so yes, He did 'invent' charity before He came to earth as a human being. I'm all for unity under the banner of God and for bearing the fruits of the Holy Spirit such as joy and charity. So let's work in unison for God, the Boss, rather than Baal, Nimrod, Mithra and other false deities.

The gentle act of growing closer to the divine turns into the violation of trying to force one small world view on the world. I wouldn't put down Mithra if I were you, most of your Jesus legends were adapted from him and Dionysus.

Also, in Genesis when it says, "Let US make man in OUR image." That is the goddess speaking to your god.The Hebrew word used for "God" in Genesis is Elohim, the plural of Eloah, a feminine title for the Goddess. Eloah is the female "half" of El.
