First saw a Bugs "paid gig" at the Agora Ballroom in Dallas around mid 70s. He was the opening act for Bob Welch, who had just left Fleetwood Mac. Bugs was jaw dropping and explosive. Left During Welch's 3rd song - had my money's worth. I had run into him a few years earlier when he sat in with Freddie King at Mother Blues in Dallas. Pure definition of Texas R&B. The shuffle KING!
