I think it's pretty funny that toss 'should get some immortals, why no immortals' to deal with a fucking terran t1 unit. They only cost 5 times as much, after all.
Blizzard seriously needs to nerf MMM. The toss player absolutely completely outplayed terran this game and BARELY won.
I agree with HD's comment that Miowerra's failure to mine gas is what killed him. Also, he would have done better to build up slightly larger drop forces and send them all in at once. Then he could have sniped the nexuses and immediately gotten out, rather than dropping small groups of units and engaging the defensive forces before hitting Izz's economy.
Though I gotta say I was relieved when the Protoss player came out on top in the end... To watch a terran player yet again doing so well by only massing T1 units with a few healbusses as support is getting beyind stupid.
Well Imho the protoss had some very decend micro as well and in addition he had a perfect macro, still the terran with poor macro and mass marauder was so totally hard to stop... yeah who needs unit composition anyways.

the game was from the terrans obviously but they don't get the victory because there was a lot of mistakes. I know he has in mind take air forces but the question is :WHEN¿?
i dont know why the terran kept making MMM... collosus and HT are direct counters to such army composition...the only reason this game lasted long was because the terran hard at the beggining..maybe a few harrasing drops but blah come on

On the bigger maps like this one, when you're on 200/200 and have to micro in 3 diffrent places in the same time it's just impossible to use heavy-slow units against protos-I think.Protos made use of every single storm and he used them a lot and that's why he won eventually.

Y is there never warp prisms? I just send one in my opponets base warp in units and carry the others and bam easiest two prong attack ever! You even get reinforcements like it was your base
... and this is why you don't play Terran like you play Zerg. Mass producing tier 1 units is quite frankly insulting to the Terrans. No upgrades? Medivacs running far ahead from the army? Stimpack usage only surpassed by the drug habits of rock stars? Empty refinery spots? What the hell?!? His micro slipped in the beginning, everything after that was a disaster, except a few of the drops, when he didn't freaking forget the damn units.
@PavlinVelichkov trying playing a game with constant harass... you can easily forget to put harvester back into gas... especially why u dont want to fall behind in battle. if you let your guard down in battle you might lose your all your units and to rebuild them will take too much time and you might lose the game if u cannot defend...
@mrvolax Protoss needs a delicate mixture of units: collosi, casters like HT, sentries, VR's, stalkers. All a terran player needs to do is spam medic, marines, and marauders.
So many unskilled terran players on BNet it's not funny.

for those who need an example for why terran are op, try and make an offline game with AI ffa vs one of each race, then turtle and wait the bots battle. Almost all the time terran is the last one standing.

Wow, this is possibly the best game ever I've seen in SC2. It kinda reminds me of the old days of Broodwar with units like everywhere with constant battles and nonstop action.
is it just me or for the first 20 mins was miowerra had a 40% bigger food army and he still couldnt stomp the protoss??? durr, oh yeah, forgot templars can basically squash a bio ball like its nothing even when you have a way bigger army than the other guy. best part is if you go BCs or thors you get feedbacked over and over like its nothing so its impossible to go that route against any good protoss player. huge psi storm range + ghost animation for shooting + missile travel = ALWAYS LOSE MICRO
@R0773N i disagree because theres a limit to how many things normal humans can process in their brain at a time. miowerra was doing A LOT of micro during that game so he probably forgot about upgrades etc. if you want to be technical then yes, he made mistakes like not mining enough gas, not tech switching earlier etc but the bottom line is that playing at that level he can easily beat 99.99% of players out there

Seriously epic game though, I don't think you can blame the terran for miss-macro that much, his apm was solidly above 200, and trying to defend all his expansions in the late stages while continuing to drop units and attempt a transition into mech makes it a little difficult. Besides, he was close to supply cap most of the time, so he couldn't spend any more.
@1lamafarmer indeed. I think the terran guy wouldve had it if he spent all that money he had on upgrades and some tanks. He had soooo few tanks which wouldve definately done soo much damage to protoss but all he mainly had were the marine/marauder/medivac. He also as HD pointed out, didnt mine all of his gas which later bit him in the butt in the late game

@omuploii Okay there, smart one. Last I checked, most pros don't accumulate 8000 minerals and no gas, stuck on barracks units. You might want to look up the definition of a pro. Imba terran gets to stay at the bottom of the tech tree and continue to stay in the game.

lol...this is probably the worst terran i've seen. He had 10k minerals and didn't even have his barracks fully queued, nor did he try to even go to tier3, which would have won him the game, nor did he get weapons upgrades. And, he hotkeyed his medivacs in with his units, as opposed to following them...so the medivacs were pointless because they kept dieing.
@xDisturbed13 You make good points, but that's the trend of Terran. Most Terran just rely on their infantry. Once they meet up with really good players, they don't know how to win without infantries.
gg. the terran just made 2 units all game (oh except for the occasional medievac and rare ghost).. the protoss had to work so much harder for the win. had he mixed in some banshees or a larger viking force or BCs or tanks think he would have easily won. (ok he made two tanks to hold one expansion. he could have done a lot more than that) I
id also say nerf marauders, you cant kill them with a storm! even without micro a marauder easily survies a storm. I am not saying that they should change that, I think having just one unit in your warpgates being effective against marauders would be nice, cause you really have to get like a tier 2 unit, to kill a tier 1,5 unit. and the immortal is freakin expensive and worthless against marines.
What really screwed over the Terran player was his refusal to make gas. If he made gas, he could've made a transition to battlecruisers and end the game.
This is a battle between Koreans, the most powerful race of people to ever play video games. A white experienced player would have difficultly dealing with a Korean noob, as they have learned and mastered the ways of the internet since becoming a man (in video game terms) at 10 years old.
@Dragorro I'd say nerf Mauraders. They're too effective...they're powerful against heavily armored AND light armored units (due to concussive shells). This is coming from a Terran player, too.
@1990nintendo Are you kidding? Against almost any lesser player the Terran's ghost micro would have spelled the end of the Protoss armies after only a couple waves. That he held his own with Collosi and Templars without Immortals to stop the Marauders was just pure macro skill, not imbalance.

@billi23cool23 Not that OP if you think about the composition of it. Mass Marauder and Medivac could be easily taken out providing that against protoss, all u have to do is getting a sizeable composition of immortal / high templar and maybe void rays if there aren't that many marines.
@minhmapdich1991 being a protoss player myself in the diamond league, i do not like playing terran players as Lucronnim stated, we have to reach much higher levels of tier to counter a simple MMM ball which only involves lower tier units. It's really about surviving by micro and macro long enough until you reach those tiers where it finally becomes a "fairer" game, with of course the terran player still having an easier time A moving his whole bio ball :)

@AvmNL Feedback doesn't work against Marines, Feedback only works on units with Energy i.e ghost, thor, battlecruiser, High Templar.
and without Psi Storm I think it would be quite hard for Toss players to fight against MMM.

The Terran made a couple of huge mistakes:
drop @ around 5:00, when he had economic advantage as well as siege tanks
not enough vikings
forgot to build refineries @ the 3 o'clock almost till the end
The Protoss's play was godlike and he was only just able to win.

lol...this is probably the worst terran i've seen. He had 10k minerals and didn't even have his barracks fully queued, nor did he try to even go to tier3, which would have won him the game, nor did he get weapons upgrades. And, he hotkeyed his medivacs in with his units, as opposed to following them...so the medivacs were pointless because they kept dieing.
This terran guy sucks hardcore, lmfao

gg. the terran just made 2 units all game (oh except for the occasional medievac and rare ghost).. the protoss had to work so much harder for the win. had he mixed in some banshees or a larger viking force or BCs or tanks think he would have easily won. (ok he made two tanks to hold one expansion. he could have done a lot more than that) I

id also say nerf marauders, you cant kill them with a storm! even without micro a marauder easily survies a storm. I am not saying that they should change that, I think having just one unit in your warpgates being effective against marauders would be nice, cause you really have to get like a tier 2 unit, to kill a tier 1,5 unit. and the immortal is freakin expensive and worthless against marines.

What really screwed over the Terran player was his refusal to make gas. If he made gas, he could've made a transition to battlecruisers and end the game.

@Dragorro I'd say nerf Mauraders. They're too effective...they're powerful against heavily armored AND light armored units (due to concussive shells). This is coming from a Terran player, too.

@1990nintendo Are you kidding? Against almost any lesser player the Terran's ghost micro would have spelled the end of the Protoss armies after only a couple waves. That he held his own with Collosi and Templars without Immortals to stop the Marauders was just pure macro skill, not imbalance.

@billi23cool23 Not that OP if you think about the composition of it. Mass Marauder and Medivac could be easily taken out providing that against protoss, all u have to do is getting a sizeable composition of immortal / high templar and maybe void rays if there aren't that many marines.

@minhmapdich1991 being a protoss player myself in the diamond league, i do not like playing terran players as Lucronnim stated, we have to reach much higher levels of tier to counter a simple MMM ball which only involves lower tier units. It's really about surviving by micro and macro long enough until you reach those tiers where it finally becomes a "fairer" game, with of course the terran player still having an easier time A moving his whole bio ball :)

Wow, a PvT where the P wins for once. This was definitely worth the watch, though it's still incredibly aggravating that it took Templar AND Colossi to defeat MMG, and even then just barely.
