  • I admit, I cried when Snape died. When I first read that he killed Dumbledore, I told my mom, "Everything nice that I have ever said about Snape, I now take back." That all changed by the end of the seventh book.

  • I bet Alan Rickman was all like "OMG!! I get a DEATH SCENE!?!? And a DRAMATI GRIEVING scene?!?!"

    *fake-faints*

*comes to* My career is at it's peak!!!"

A better death scene than the one in Sweeny Todd. This one had feeling.

  • this is so beautiful. i will forever love Severus Snape! <3 "he was the bravest man i ever knew." <3

  • sounds alot like Lilly's Theme.

  • @001biohazard It's supposed to, because he was in love with Lily.

  • @001biohazard That's because a lot of it IS Lily's Theme genius.

    <3 <3 <3 <3

  • This theme for the whole movie is just... beautiful. I mean, its amazing how mysterious yet gorgeous it sounds.

  • snape is awesome!!!!

  • I'm getting tired of all this Snape worshipping.. You know what? Yes. What he did, was good. Very good. He risked his life, and remained faithful to Dumbledore all those years. He protected Harry from harm. And he did it all, just for his love for Lily. I like Snape but.. fact is, after people discovered all this, they see him as a sort of hero.

Snape liked the Dark Arts. He bullied the students, threatened them. And he loathed Harry. Please remember this too, as Snape isn't perfect. at all.

  • @xxBecauseicanxx I agree completely. The thing I hate most about Snape-worship is that a lot of Snape-worshippers seem to forget about his past, like the fact that he WAS a Death Eater & was partly responsible for Lily's death. It just seems that people try to glorify Snape too much to make it seem like he was this super-hero incapable of doing wrong. No. Just no. There's much more to his character than that...

  • @sssc6092 So what if he was a death eater, it was what he belived in he wasnt like the rest, HE WAS IN NO WAY REPONSIBLE FOR LILYS DEATH THAT IS A MASSIVE LIE, not one person says hes incapable of doing wrong but you cant use his past agaisnt him, in they way your tring to do

  • @MrDarkPheonix

............ First of all, chill out. This is just a fictional character. Second of all, open a dictionary and learn how to spell. Lastly, seeing as how Snape delivered the prophecy, which ultimately got Lily killed, to Voldemort... lol I'd say that definitely puts some culpability onto Snape. ;)

"but you cant use his past agaisnt him..." Lmao, sorry for not glorifying him and not glossing over his bad side as you appear to have done.

  • @sssc6092 If its a fictional character why do you hate people you like snape????

wow your oh no dont insult me spelling, it doesnt matter if i abbreviate words, just shows im smart enough to understand words even if there missing letters, dont think so search it up.

snape asked dumbledore to hid the potters and he did until the pettigrew toldwere they wore so thats invalid. if we take your approach then almost all the good characters are bad in a way and all the bad characters are good in a way

  • @MrDarkPheonix Snape only hid the Potters becasue Lily was among them

  • @xxBecauseicanxx No one said he was. He was a very mean person. But you have to admit, he's had a lot of problems. I just read Deathly Hallows again the other day and I realized that Snape did have a very sad life, which most likely caused his bad personality, just like how people who are bullied often become bullies themselves. And I doubt most of the wizarding world saw him as a hero in the end, there will always be some degree of skepticism with people like him.

  • @xxBecauseicanxx no he's not perfect, but I love him anyway.

  • "The green eyes found the black, but after a second, something in the depths of the dark pair seemed to vanish, leaving them fixed, bland, and empty. The hand holding Harry thudded to the floor, and Snape moved no more."

  • when I star to hear the girl singing at 1:41 I know it was almost over... :(

  • And my soul, Dumbledore? Mine?

  • Does anyone notice the main harry potter theme is in the backround at: 0:20

  • Favorite Scene in the movie

  • I'm so glad they made him say "You have your mother's eyes" before he died. It just made the scene a lot more meaningful and emotional.

  • "You have your mothers eyes..." we all loathed snape up until this moment, it was almost scary to see a tear trickle down his face and adore Harry for the first time. One of the saddest scenes of the movie.

  • @ChucklevisionmanII I didn't loath him. I knew he would turn good and die, along with draco malfoy and voldimort. ha ha.

  • "You have your mother's eyes..." ♥

  • why didnt voldermort kill lucius instead or somethin..bt the bravest man harry potter ever knew....it broke my heart.

  • i love u snape!!! ur the hero:D

i cried my eyes out when harry saw the memories of snape!!!AAAA so SAD!!!!

    D:

  • 'and then Harry Potter woke up'

  • Just hearing this song makes me see Snape's death all over again! Snape's death scene and then his memories tore my heart out. The haunting chorus part makes me really sad whenever I hear it, and I suppose it's only appropriate that the chorus part echoes the "Lily's Theme", as Snape loved Lily more than anything.

  • Such a sad scene, I was balling my eyes out! This score though is gorgeous

    Brilliant Scene

  • I love that sorrowful voice on this track :')

  • just hearing this music makes me want to ball my eyes out I can see snapes death all over again. Snape was a very complex character we all loved him and lost faith in him from time to time, but overall I felt so sad after seeing his memories which really show just how strong love can be, he really was a very special and brave wizard! =')

  • This scene made me teary eyed especially when he was crying and also in his memories as well when he cried after seeing lily's corpse. Been a fan of Harry Potter since the whole movie came out. Then I read all of the books and movies and this movie in particular is the only Harry Potter movie I remembered crying in.

  • The most emotional, powerful yet sad scene and soundtrack ever.. Just listening to it makes me cry without even watching the scene in the movie...

  • "Albus Severus Potter...You were named after 2 headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was in Slytherin and he was the bravest man I ever knew..."

Thumbs Up if you like this..

  • snape best character ever. :] some of the best scenes for me, sad, scarey, terrifiying but yet, beautiful Long Live Professer Snape :D

  • @vampyr12sweetie correction long live the memory of Snape. Hes dead so you cant say long live Snape

  • his death in the film was soooooooo! sad ;(( i screamed the whole cinema together :o HIS EYES WERE FILLED WITH LOVE AND PAIN! THIS WAS SO :OOO DEPRESSING ;((((((

  • Amazing and sad

  • The moment Nagini attacks Snape is terrifying!

Urgh the "thud. thud....thud." sound as the snake attacks bite after bite and there was blood splattered up the window.

Still a brilliant scene, and Snape's memories too :) could've done with a bit more young Lily/young James/young Snape interaction though..

  • @sophielou6 oh i know, i cringed up and almost felt the pain!!! i loved the memory part the most out of everything :)

  • I LOVE how they include the HP theme tune in it. This is going to be the worst part of the film for me :( Snape </3
