@1stuy All albums before Year of the Black Rainbow (also name of the novel) told the story of Claudio's comic book series; The Amory Wars. I think this album focuses on a character called The Writing Writer (which is also a badass song), and his relationship with Erica Court, who cheated on him.

In the storyline Claudio (Character) not only finds out that Erica Court has been cheating on him, but also that she has been selling information to Wilhelm Ryan and his forces... and now that everyone knows that she is a spy, she has no place to go anymore. I do know the meaning and think it's fancinating, actually.

As far as the name goes I just like the way it sounts. It rolls of the tounge. So fitting.

@EricaBedwell Actually, Erica Court is the former lover of The Writing Writer. Her literary manifestation (and love interest of the character Claudio Kilgannon) is Newo Ikkin, whom the Writer models after Erica's negative aspects. Claudio and Erica aren't technically related.
