@peettriple RIS has nothing to do with any of it. The M16A3 (we're talking straight military versions here) is the same as the M16A2 except it's safe-semi-auto; not safe-semi-burst. The A4 is more modern with the removable carry handle and is Safe-Semi-Burst.

@legotecky321 I've chroned it with about 400 FPS (the usual limit in my country). Yes, it's electric, and I use 2 different mags: Tokyo Mariu with a capacity of 70 rounds and G&P with about 120 rounds. At wgc the gun costs 312 bucks, but without launcher. There's one at redwolf (an A3) with the launcher for 333 bucks
@Camper630 Definitely not. The A2 has no removeable carrying handle, and this is a replica of the licenced built FN M16 A4... and a very good one, I think. The A2 has also a lower diameter of the outer barrel. You can see it on the markings too. Anyway, A1, 2, 3, 4 or whatever- it's an airsoft gun... bookmarks and numbers don't make the difference ;-)

You can put the launcher (or a R.I.S., whatever) on nearly every model of M16
@HurleyAirsoft It's true, you can't hear it. I have counted it another way: when I was cutting the video, I counted the tops in the sound trace. That's easy, but you're right: there were only about 23-24 per seconds... I rounded up a little bit ;-)

But when I built this AEG this from redwolf didn't exist (maybe they have seen my video ;-)) The AEG I bought has (or better: had, it looks now a bit different) about 330 FPS. I think this could be a custom AEG from redwolf, like the wgc custom guns on the wgc homepage (I have the M16A3M203 from wgc custom too)

@MW2BRO No, about 120 meters per second, measured with 0,2 gr. BB's. But I only use 0.25 gr. BB's... they have a velocity of about 110 meter per second (or 360 FPS)

@peettriple i know about that but i was just wondering about the heat guard cause ive only seen them on a3s, but so far the a4 is the only one with ris rails and a removable carring handle the a3 had a removable handle but was full auto and semi but lacked the ris rails like it newer counter part.
@lancemanchap You're right, this heat cover is from my A3; but this heat cover was built for the A2, I remember. Whem I got the G&P M16A4 it only had the normal heat covers on it, no RIS. The point is: there is no standard on no M16 regarding the heat cover. The distinctions (outwardly) are only the (removeable) carrying handle and the fire mods.
Actually, this A4 on the video has changed it's look now. There's a short RIS on it now and a modified SR-25 silencer. Looks great ;-)

Dude your "M16A4" is actually a M16A2. It was used Vietnam as a upgraded variant that had that fore grip to attach a grenade launcher.

@MW2BRO No, about 120 meters per second, measured with 0,2 gr. BB's. But I only use 0.25 gr. BB's... they have a velocity of about 110 meter per second (or 360 FPS)

@gamerhigh00 No... and I think, a silencer would not make the AEG silent, cause the noise comes from the body, from the gearbox; this sound is much louder than the sound, when BB's are leaving the barrel

@lancemanchap The A4 has usually a RIS, but that's not standard. You can use every heatcover you want. The difference to the A1-A3 is the removable carrying handle and the safe/semi/burst firing mode (on the real deal)

@peettriple i know about that but i was just wondering about the heat guard cause ive only seen them on a3s, but so far the a4 is the only one with ris rails and a removable carring handle the a3 had a removable handle but was full auto and semi but lacked the ris rails like it newer counter part.

@lancemanchap You're right, this heat cover is from my A3; but this heat cover was built for the A2, I remember. Whem I got the G&P M16A4 it only had the normal heat covers on it, no RIS. The point is: there is no standard on no M16 regarding the heat cover. The distinctions (outwardly) are only the (removeable) carrying handle and the fire mods.
Actually, this A4 on the video has changed it's look now. There's a short RIS on it now and a modified SR-25 silencer. Looks great ;-)

@fallen1archer At 0:36 you can see the FN-Markings plus the type of this model, M16A4; at 0:40 you can see the trigger: Safe, Semi, Burst. The M16A3 has Save, Semi and Fullauto

@fallen1archer If you want to... yes. But the rail isn't a typical characteristic of the A4; the rail is only usually mounted on that type of gun. The characteristics are the things I wrote in my further comment: the markings and especially the "burst"-marking, allthough my AEG has no real burst mode. But the real deal would have
