The problem is that the NIV (and King James Version?) seems to be mistranslated...at least when it comes to Romans 13.

Hey bigb47, the King James bible is great. All other versions take away and add to the word. They take away from the deity of Christ, his death and resurrection. People need to read romans 13 in context not just the first 2 verses. I read it the other night as i concluded my study of Romans and I did not come to the conclusion that the clergy response wolves came to. Let scripture interpret scripture.  The sheep are not the governments' they are Gods sheep and the wolves want to eat.
