  • @funtimehappyyes really Do 90s Were Better

  • dude. Ham on the burger. that is BOLD

  • lol i remember this commercial. Btw anyone remember how nasty the plain hamburgers used to be in the 80s.. all you got was a dry cold little patty with mustard pickle and ketchup

  • Ah hardees, how I loved your racist commercials LOL

  • Who's the faggot now ronnie?

  • Back before Carl's Jr. fucked up the menu.

  • haha I was a wee little baby when this commercial first aired ahh memories....

  • when hardees used to be awesome.

  • This was back when burgers actually substance to them. :3

  • I'm glad this commercial was from 1988 because I'm going to vomit.

  • XD those burgers look thick XD most burgers now arent that thick unless ya pay $10 for em or made one at home

  • @hkfan1980 Of course they look thick, it's a commercial, not what was served in the restaurant.

  • DOSE ANYBODY REMEMBER THE GIRL, LOOKS LIKE A 70S KICK BACK, TRY OUR REALLY BIG BERGER, I LOVE IT,

  • Oh my gosh, the cowboy is Jordan Clarke, Billy Lewis from "The Guiding Light."

  • Hardees = Carl's Jr. ?

  • @cocoazedodoinferno Yes they are the same company.

  • These old commercials are so much better than today's Hardy's commercials where they think having ingredients oozing off the burgers is going to make you want to buy them yuck.

  • wtf is hardees?

  • @nofx84 A fast food restaurant. They had great breakfast biscuits.

  • Hardees has the best home cut fries of any of them!!!!

  • best fast food restaurants:

    *Burger King

    *Hardees

    *Hardees again

  • Holy Crap the Italian one and the Mexican one looked awesome as hell! They need to bring those 2 back ASAP!!!

  • man they look awesome america has so many fastfood chains its not funny.

  • Old 1980s VHS recordings saved my life.

  • I loved the old Hardee's menu MUCH MORE than the ones of today.

  • I'm not a real big Hardee's fan, but OMG those look so good!

  • The man in the cowboy hat played Billy Lewis on Guiding Light stupid assholes from CBS cancelled Guiding Light.

  • I haven't seen a Hardees in like 20 years. I didn't even know they still had Hardees.

  • @SargentAnus They still have Hardee's Carl Jrs combined with them in about 2003 some of them sell tacos and nachos and other Mexicanfoods along with the hamburgers. They used to sell Fried Chicken here in NC but stopped in 2002

  • If it doesn't have the Big Roast Beef, it ain't Hardees.

  • Those remind me of the the two Twix flavors: Cookies 'n Cream and Chocolate Fudge. Why? The Twix bars and the Hardee's "International Toppings" are some things you rarely see, while you wish you had them earlier.

  • its Roy Rogers on the east coast in place of Hardees

  • Oh wow.....anyone who watches CBS soaps will recognize the cowboy as Guiding Light's Billy.... Jordan Clarke

  • better tank todays ones lol joke

  • what happened to these guys

  • i LOVE Hardee's

  • hardees beats mcdonalds any day...

  • true that ;)

  • HELL YEAH

  • I could just imagine the political pundits tackling "the Mexican" in modern times.

  • ok but in Saudi Arabia what they have ?

  • What's Carl Jr's?

  • they are both owned by the both parent company

  • It's essentially Hardee's sister store, they're both owned by the same company, Carls Jr found in the western states while Hardees is in the eastern states. Theres like maybe 3 states that has both.

  • hardee's in the west

  • no Hardee's in the east, Carl's Jr. in the west.

  • Hardees is FANTASIC! I love going there :)

  • I think Hardee's and Carl Jr.'s merged. Carl Jr's bought them or something. Some of the restaurants retained the name Hardee's, many got their names changed to Carl Jr. But even the ones that still have the Hardee's name, aren't actually "Hardees" anymore. They are run the Carl Jrs way.

  • they are both the same

  • Carl Jr. was founded in the '40s, Hardee's was founded in 1955. They were separate outfits for decades until Carl Jr.s acquired Hardee's in the late 1990s.

    ;-)

  • man i havent seen one of these for ages

  • i wanna go back to the 90s man

  • @funtimehappyyes ....me toooo....

  • @funtimehappyyes screw that - 80's all the way :P lol

  • Ha! I wish Hardee's still existed! There used to be one up the street from my house....my dad would go there and get my sister and I great chicken sandwiches or a cool 8 piece of fried chicken....sadly that place closed around 2003. :-(

  • Too bad they don't have Hardees here on the west coast but at least we got Carl's Jr. instead.

  • kewl.

  • My Dad Usto Love Going Here. They Had The Best Burger It Wowed Him So Much To This Day He Remembers It. He Is 41 This Year
