The reason why Iraq invaded Kuwait was : Dipute over financial debt, Rumaila oil fields, and Arab nationilism. The first I can simply say" Do you bite the hand which fed you in the first place? The second reason, Rumaila oil fields belong both to Kuwait and Iraq geographically! The Iraqi government however was in desperate need of money.
