James Burton is truly an American classic roots guitarist. His style incorporates country, blues, and rockabilly. If you're a guitar player, chanches are you owe something to this "Master of the Telecaster"...
It's good to know that when these greats are gone their videos may one day reach beyond the scope of the horrid decay of music we are in now and start a new wave of greatness.
Burton is a TRUE living legend ... one of the most important guitar players ever. I was thinking about the kids nowadays ... without the good influences, the good music will die.
Dude, you get so much emotion transferred into the guitar and it' interesting to listen to! i totally love this because i want to express my emotions simularily ...just to know, what type of strings are you rocking on that tele?
Small world, my friend here in Monroe,La. Wilbur Duke, my Barber, hired James when he was a kid to play in His band in Shreveport,La. They still are lifelong playing friends.
I'm here now because of what Keith Richards said about James Burton on one of Keith's many YouTube fan question videos...and Keith is definitely right about this guy!
would anyone recomend playing this kind of stuff in a baritone b standard tuning on an flying v???? its all i got and im not going to tune to standard with 68 -14 strings...
