Prop 102 is not about religion... its simply stating that a marriage is a union of one man and one woman... Period. it says nothing about Jesus and the Bible. And how could Prop 102 be "tearing apart families"? Butt sex doesn't make babies, and to be honest I would feel REALLY sorry for a kid who is adopted by a gay or lesbian couple. Ok think about it. Every kid wants to live in a normal family. At first, a kid may see two daddies as being normal but as he grows up he becomes confused. There is a simple fix to all this fuss. Remove the word marriage entirely. Call it a Union of Trust. Our problem is although we have separation of church and state, religious influences are still abundant in our laws. The government does not gauge if we have sex on our honeymoons, it does not gauge if you actually LOVE the person. It is merely a form to designate combination of assets and trust of decisions of one another. And if it's marriage they want, they can have it in a church, all done..
